I wonder if my gameplay is so messed up like this because literally the day it was released I have been playing on this save. I am wondering if I should start over from scratch and see if things are better the second time around.
When the zombies break abuilding, they take it all the way to make it gray and I have to spend like 65 wood to rebuild, along with the metal and bricks but i only notice the wood since that is what i am always out of.
I think my main idea for this game is I want to just have a very small city, with a small workforce, one or just two squads, and imagine we will only fight off a handful of zombies here and there. Thinking the large amount of zombies wouldn't want to leave the big cities and come a long journey in the middle of the country somewhere or even be able to survive such a long trip. And then me and my little camp just thrive and survive. Obviously the game doesn't appear to be developed like that, and for some people they would get bored because there's no increasing danger every night to overwhelm their camp but I guess that's kind of what I was just hoping for by picking a really small town.

I saw similar issue. Game created large "police cluster" (8 or so buildings) which is looks like a military base however actual location is just a bunch of ordinary appartment buildings with some shops on the ground floor.
