Greenhouse Issues
Don't bother with the greenhouses yet. They seem to randomly decide to deconstruct themselves while complaining they are being attacked (I think by the workers working them lol). I think they might need to be balanced a little. They probably shouldn't produce the same amount of grain as a standard field. Although there's a little bit of research and a minor resource difference, they are just clearly better than standard fields.

I think the balance point should be a 4 month cold cycle. 1 field with 4 days of cold should produce the same grain as a greenhouse. In this way a field will be the best choice for places with no cold weather while places with longer winters would want greenhouses. There's no choice at this point other than the greenhouses self-destructing occasionally lol.

It's a feature I was looking forward to since I like to play up in the mountains and you get the growing penalty from Sept-April a lot. It'll get worked out. I just don't want anyone to lose a save by building them right now.

Thanks for pointing that out, please consider sending us a bug report when any abnormal thing happens to them. They worked well in our internal tests, so bugs might be incidential or a player-specific case.

Have they been removed since this post? In my latest run (on one of the pre-made starting maps) they are there in the research tree but not selectable....

They were added then removed and then added back again with changes in the latest beta build. So if you are using the next to last beta build then it will be disabled.

@Rider First thing I did was submit the bug :) I just posted here as well so others don't bork a save and have to start over.

Did you start a new game or load a save from previous beta? It requires a new game to unlock it.

Just figured it out. It's not just greenhouses. If you use the trick of marking the building for deconstruction and then cancelling so you can choose the right recipe, the building will eventually remember you wanted to dismantle it and start that process again with no way to cancel. I just had this happen to a normal field and cookhouse at the same time. :(

We'll have a look at it.
