How to equip new weapons

Loving the game thus far and can't wait to see what you do with it. Wondering if anything can help me with equipping new weapons to my squads. Thanks!

only way i know is to make a squad then getting into a car and put it in there and then put the squad you want to have the gun in the car and move to them

IZI PEASY
send your squad into your warehouse or HQ with the guns
then use the "Exchange" UI button( in the SQUAD Window, then click on the building where the weapons are, then drag and drop, easy peasy.... peoples need hand holding playing computer games....i feel like im back in kindergarten... change weapons drag the weapon from the person into the squads inventory and the other one into the slot

Little Tip, just leave out the parts where you are condescending to others.
That will turn you from beeing percieved as a ♥♥♥♥ to beeing percieved as helpfull. Significantly reducing your possible frustrstion with backlash to the condescending bits.

.....That is the most unintuitive way I've heard of equipping gear...How the ♥♥♥♥ are people supposed to know what Exchange means on a character interface, let alone know to click Exchange THEN click on a building? It's not obvious.

If you create a squad while in HQ they will load with the best weapon available, knives to pistols to rifles automatically ; There are advance weapons (sniper rifles, shotguns and others) are not use able yet. but, if you have a HQ with only advance weapons they will load those. otherwise you need to equip them yourself.

To your point:

You open your squad menu and drag the rifle to where your pistol or swords are, it will be replace by said item. If you don't have ammo it will be empty (red). (hint: if you fine lets say 1 or 3 rifles and are driving, make the pistol guy the driver as he will not shoot even if you stop as long as he is in car. So don't waste that fire power if you're kiting infested.

Most likely the Big C if ReD is English or the short from of Richard that starts with D if they are American. Its a censor.

My advice to save you time from repeating or repling to comments especially if you find it difficult, is to take all real questions and supply an answer the first time it is asked. Don't embelish. Now take that answer and add it to your game as a pop up or info panel. You can guarantee if one person asks then more will need the same guidance.
