HQ Maximum Population / Storage
Is having maximum 309 storage & maximum 27 population/living space in the HQ (even in larger buildings that would have more storage/living space as a separate shelter/warehouse) intentionally the maximum? Or is it a bug?
And if it's a bug, is that something I can fix on my end by reinstalling or etc.? Or is it a "wait and see" situation?

I'm trying to remember if I did a game on the assigned cities where my starting HQ was huge. Think it was overseas with alot of skyscrapers.

when you place your Hq if placed it on a larger structure the outline will only fill partial of the structure.

A) Intentionally the maximum? Seems to me that makes sense. Were your survivors packed in with 235 wood, no. Just enough to secure a modest beginning.
B&C) bug? No to reinstall.
D) wait and see? Could change?

You can edit the building in the save game directory

data.json in your save folder recommend Notepad++

If you break your save that is on you can edit researches too not all work atm just a heads up before you edit anything you I recommend you finish the Ant Mission because if that get bugged which is simple to do that save file is not feasible.

Just letting you know, people don't know what overseas is for you, unless the go to your profile. From my perspective the US is overseas.

You know Maxtor102 brings up a good point in terms of HQ increasing as you increase in citizens the HQ gets bigger *fuller) as more administrative and logistics people are needed because the community gets larger..

I'll add 2c.
You can start placing HQ into bigger building, but from start you only use some part of it. Using adapt on same building you can extend it to full potential.
Using gradual adaptation is very helpful.

This is correct. It's not a bug. There's no need to edit game files. It's just not very well explained.

Right now it not advisable to use huge building. First weapon range is limited. U will end up with infect attacking your hq while out of pistol range. And it waste really alot of material
