I guess they're just fixing the things that Bug them.
bul1shit on the "bug" fixes, they censored tifa's outfit and tried to brush it off
This is the post that's floating around the forums:

FF7 Remake Update Version 1.03 Patch Notes (FF7R 1.03)
Addressed game crashing issues.
Added fixes for framerate drop and lag issues.
Performance and stability improvements added.
Other minor under the hood fix.
Thank you. Will we get an estimated date when the PC version of Rebirth releases? Will the save file from Remake import into Rebirth?
I'm sick of all of this

Another game publisher added to my ignore list. Sigh, there were several Square Enix games that were on my wish list, but they aren't there anymore. The original art in the game was created and approved by the developers, and Sony and Valve allowed it to be sold on their platforms, and then it is censored after being sold to people. You are supposed to censor stuff before selling it to people. :steamfacepalm:

Edit:
Here is the Tifa from the original Crisis Core: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khMVHTo2W8o

Here is the Tifa from the 2022 Crisis Core Reunion (they took the Remake outfit and covered her up) and the patch is a higher quality version of its outfit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mdu-8gD_Ofc

So the patch is inline with the Reunion version of Crisis Core (Edit: except the new shirt in the Remake is a vest with buttons instead of a sports bra, breaking continuity). The original Crisis Core outfit looks the best in my opinion. It covered her mostly up and it had an interesting design to it. Thanks for the Steam points! Because of the puritanical West, Tifa may end up having a mastectomy across all the games by the third game to avert the male gaze. I'm flabbergasted at where their mind was while viewing that scene. What was wrong with the original Crisis Core outfit? If they had used it in the first place they wouldn't had to go through all this trouble with this update.

Final Edit: The new clothes on the young Tifa in the remake and the one in Crisis Core Reunion are different. Crisis Core Reunion looks to be canon in this new trilogy just like the original Final Fantasy 7. Tifa's new shirt is a vest with buttons and the one in Crisis Core Reunion is a black sports bra. It breaks immersion now that I am aware of it. Square Enix, I'll accept the argument that the new patch was to unify and bring continuity to your games and will return to purchasing them if you fix the Tifa in Crisis Core Reunion to match the one in the Remake. Otherwise the whole continuity argument regarding her clothes between games falls on its face.

My dude, you are playing on PC, just mod it and move on. This is the tiniest thing to be that upset about. Isn't that even an image of when she was a minor?
