Proofs on the Sweet Baby Inc. website. You can see this in the seventh minute of the video. Square Enix is working with Sweet Baby Inc.

I just replayed FF7 OG and in my steam version (with reunion mod) the scene was also removed (or the hero was in the wrong activation position...). In the Nibelheim demo clouds also opens the wardrobe and get called an @sshole by Tifa&Aerith which is imho the same joke without the need to loot the panties if you have some kind of imagination.

It's a shame that after almost 30 years, content is being cut from the game. In this regard, only those who have the game on disk or cartridge are lucky.

First of all, Square-Enix has been doing this for a long time. The scene where Terra is beaten up by guards was removed from the Final Fantasy VI. Some things just don't age well.

I say this to all people: Do you want to play Final Fantasy VII? GO AND PLAY FINAL FANTASY 7. There are so many mods, and with AI doing high-res texture, and new assets being released in games like Ever Crisis, it's THE PERFECT TIME to play Final Fantasy VII OG.

I am GLAD Final Fantasy 7 Remake is a FRESH take on this game. People put FF7OG on a pedestal when they don't even know why the game is special. The game will ALWAYS BE THERE. ENJOY AS IS.

I really hope they make Sephiroth as a woman on FF7RE Part 3 - the way he was supposed to be, the way the writers wanted to be - but the "Hats" in the company said "no, we don't want a female villain because it won't sell as much".

Just look at all forms Sephiroth takes during the game: it's clearly androgenous, and I know it's JENOVA.

The times have changed, people. I think games being Remade are a good social study on human behavior.

Instead, they are giving us 3 AAA games and a fresh new experience based on the OG. And I rather have that.

Just go and check Nexus Mods, guys. You can play Final Fantasy VII Remaster: it already exists.

You are correct, I did not watch the video. I don't give views to people who target a certain crowd.

I mean they worked on 4 AAA games, 3 of which are highly regarded. SSKtJL would have been bad with our without them. So what's the issue?

That's not cut content, the form has just changed like a lot has changed in the Remake series. If you haven't noticed, it's not a 1:1 remake.

Yeah I like her, she's actually reasonable, and neutral compared to a lot of others.

They need to takes cues from Stellar Blade and give BlackRock and western censorship the middle finger. Maybe when it's all said and done, we can finally get an uncut director's cut edition. I would double dip for that.

it's pretty obvious they're censoring the game to chase the appropriate age rating. Even blood was heavily censored in the demo.

I did read the article. Unfortunately nothing in there screams censorship. Changing the blood in Remake was to adhere to modern rating systems and targeting their desired rating of Teen. We don't know why they changed Cid's smoking habit and while it does appear to be absent, it doesn't mean it totally is. It could also be due to ESRB. Until we do know (if we ever find out), it's a stretch to call it censorship. And the whole panty-raid deal is vastly overblown. The scene is still in Rebirth, just altered like many other scenes in the Remake series.
