Any way/mod to skip the dancing minigame?

Better yet, any mods out there that auto complete mini games so I don't have to do them? They're all god-awful. The dancing one makes me too uncomfortable to actually finish it, I'm cringing too hard to focus/not okay with how strange it is. This game feels less like a final fantasy game and more like a mini game simulator, tbh. If I can't skip this part, I'll probably stop playing the game altogether. Any ideas?

No thanks. I stopped playing the game. I absolutely cannot handle the cringe homoerotic, cartoony BS in what's supposed to be a dark fantasy game. Thanks anyways, guys.

Just walk away and let the dance finish itself. You don't have to complete it or press any buttons. Also, get a sense of humor. It is done for laughs. No one is trying to convert you. Finally, remember you have an anime girl as your profile pic. That's not exactly masculine...

The OG also has silly moments too, what did you expect, the OG had the honeybee inn too minus the dancing it's just soo cloud gets a different style underwear entirely optional, the dance prompt is optional too, if your going for all achievements it's not, practice doing all 10 greats gets you a music disc, in the main part it's just 20 greats for the earrings, but if you don't care for that just don't do a thing, it'll be over and cloud will be in the dress you get look up dressed to the nines to help with dresses, also cloud has to dress as a girl to infiltrate don corneos mansion even in the OG he can't just send aerith on her own, I do agree some mini games are terrible but they are entirely optional, I managed to do them be thankful it's not darts

There are a lot of them. Varying quality like OG. It can get overwhelming/frustrating to be a completionist about them.

Rebirth is a fantastic game and an excellent sequel to this one... but of course it all comes down to subjective preferences... the only minigame I genuinely had trouble enjoying was a shooting gallery style game... but the rest I had fun getting top marks in similar to the squat / pull up challenges.

I really look forward to seeing how this style of JRPG / Western open world action hybrid continues to grow because so far it has gone above and beyond in a whole lot of ways...

As for the OP on this post, holy crap man it is a dance. There is no homoeroticism and even Cloud himself is uncomfortable with it but is man enough to force himself to get through it. If you cant even grow thick enough skin to last 2-5 minutes through that tiny part of a single game then you better really bunker down and wall off the world.

Thank you all, I'll see how well I do on them, I don't have hate for this game, just some voices here and there, music not a big fan some are good like tifas theme and that stand up song, I think my favourite mini game in this is yuffies fort condor, mainly cause I do like board games, hated the darts in this one, thankfully you don't need to do any of them it's side stuff, I do want to know how the sequel goes though, also I'm gonna be playing crisis core too, to me ff7 was my favourite growing up I love final fantasy but ff7 was my favourite

Exactly, plus it's easily skippable, just wait till it's done without pressing a button and there you go, you get no achievement and no earrings but if you don't care for that and just wanna enjoy the story then it's just the simple act of waiting till the dance is done, I did find it though and aeriths cute like go cloud was funny

Personally impossible for me to play this or most other Japanese games with English voices... the dialogue and character persona is changed too drastically in most cases... the English VAs for most of the main cast (Cloud, Aerith, Tifa, Barret, Sephiroth and especially Yuffie just kill the vibe in the characters). Again this is totally subjective... but since I view these games as playable anime series it is hard to see them changed by English VAs and Westernized writing that is sometimes drastically different from what the Japanese dialogue was originally written as. In Rebirth it gets REALLY affected with phrases like 'On our way Fam' or 'Just take the L' and even 'Yeah Girl Power hah!' thrown in.

I actually liked tifas and aeriths va, yuffie is hit and miss for me, but barret and cloud sound awful, but the ones I hated the most are wedge and hojo, I mainly play in them English cause I'm not a fan of sub, to me it's like reading a manga which I do like reading mangas but not when I'm playing a game, in the OG game the text biggest majority of the time didn't go ahead until you pressed a button, I prefer to read at my pace not the games pace so that's why I use English va's
