Still don't like it, and yea it's painfully obvious that era of storytelling is over. Guess I was looking more for people's opinions on the matter instead of snark or am I just a dinosaur that cares too much.

Because Jenova isn't human so the purple blood makes more sense and to avoid a higher rating. The purple blood bubbling like it does is really cool.

There's a ton of changes that don't match the original. Anyone that plays this game expecting the same exact experience is going to be heavily disappointed.
