FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE

FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE

Statistiche:
what is the best final fantasy ever made
I know there are a lot of them, but i feel this game the FF7 remake is the best final fantasy game ever..holy @hit..what a story..i was literally shook in the end...and that sephiroth guy...so cool yet menacing....
and when you call the summon materia...whoom boom bash..waow
i seriously dont know where the story could go from here...but the guy in the end will have something to do im sure
The world building is so realistic, even the animations like like opening the treasure chests and shimmying through the corridors, duckin through the broken grates...

My only nit picks are that the main hero had a silly name, and all the female characters were irritating
Also the black dude was kind of an idiot

FFI was great. I played the Origins version of it.

I didn't like FFII. I should play it and give it another chance.

FFIII - FFV were titles I didn't play. Some would probably say I'm not a true FF fan becuase of that. I get it.

I don't care for the 3D Remakes.

I respect FFVI, but I've never completed it. I need to. I get too hung up on clearing the bestiary while trying not to level at all. I should really clear it though because I know it's considered one of the best FF games. I remember Shadow joining my party and then just leaving which was a huge surprise since I wasn't used to party members leaving.

FFVII was a game I saw at a friend's house. It looked weird because I had never seen anything like it and my parents couldn't afford the PS1 until much later.

FFVIII - I will fully admit that the Junction System is too complex for my smooth brain. I need to play it, though, because it has been forever since I even thought about it.

My childhood was Final Fantasy IX. It was my first Final Fantasy along with Final Fantasy Origins (I and II) which were both MSRPing at $50 so it was a pretty expensive trip to Best Buy that night.

I didn't love FFX. That is not to say it's a bad game, but I just personally didn't like it. Lilith was cool, though. I also wasn't a huge fan of Blitzball. I respect it, but I just don't love it.

Never played X-2.

I think I was in 9th Grade when FFXI came out. My parents couldn't afford it. So, I've never played it.

FFXII was amazing. I remember playing the original version for so many hours that I would start hallucinating. It was so good. When I found out about The Zodiac Age, I was so happy about it.

FFXIII is probably one of the worst games I've ever played. It was released during my senior year of high school. Vanille's voice made me turn my TV down in my room so my parents didn't think I was watching XXXX. Also, the game was way more melodramatic than any other game I've ever played. Final Fantasy typically leans towards a melodramatic tone but XIII was the most cringy.

Never played XIII-2 nor Lighting Returns.

When FFXIV 2.0 came out, I had just become a licensed and practicing pharmacist. I had never played an MMO, but I wanted to raid. I remember wanting to play WoW but I didn't like it. One night, this guy came into the pharmacy and he was a gamer. I told him not to spoil E3 for me because I couldn't watch it. He suggested FFXIV and I got hype. There was a time when Titan Hard Mode was freaking impossible. Since Titan HM was a requirement in getting Relic Weapons, I spent forever trying to clear it. And then when Turn 13 was released, I thought it was the coolest thing in gaming history. I also raided at the beginning of Shadowbringers as Ninja because nobody played Ninja. I went from maining Paladin to Black Mage to Summoner to Ninja to Monk to Summoner and now back to Monk. I mained Monk during Ultimate Coil of Bahamut. That was a lot of fun. I'd say FFXIV is my favorite simply because it has had the biggest impact me as a person. You join a team if you choose and then you have to be fair to your teammates. You can't just take whatever gear you want.

FFXV was so much fun. I hated the JPop looking characters, but that game did a wonderful job of making you feel like you were really on a road trip. Camping feels good, and fishing is amazing. The only thing I really hate about FFXV is that enemies always drop in on you, which gets annoying. But the Primals in the game were awesome. Titan looked sick, Shiva was awesome, and Ifrit was great. Leviathan was pretty cool. Adamantoise is also cool.

FFXVI looks absolutely sick. I love the look of the Primals. Yeah they just look amazing.

Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Advance are both absolutely phenomenal games. I love both of them.

Final Fantasy World is cute. It's fun.

I haven't played a lot of the spinoff titles.

FFVII Remake is a mixed bag for me. Sometimes, it's a lot of fun but other times, I just don't enjoy playing it. It 100% turned me into a Tifa guy, though. She is super fun to play, and she reminds me of a FFXIV Monk. Aerith sucks, IMO. She turned me into a Tifa guy after hearing her voice.

Messaggio originale di Saph:
IX, hands down. Best story, best main cast and the best variety of side content out of any game in the series.
Not sure if I can agree with IX being that good, but I can say that it has the best card game.
I play IX from time to time again just for the card game.

I'm so sad that FF14 follows FF8 card game rather than FF9 card game.
Tetra Master, while flawed was fun. But when I say side content, I mean the side quests and minigames that actually had meaningful rewards. I like it and TT about the same if I'm honest, though TT was at least useful to the gameplay thanks to Card Mod. TM on the other hand didn't feel nearly as rewarding and I'm never going for the full collection more than once if I ever find the patience to.

Hot & Cold leads to tons of great gear and items earlier than you'd normally find them for a little time commitment, ultimately leading to the game's superboss which is my favourite in the series not because it's particularly hard, but how it was coded to adapt to how you play. You could beat it with a full level 99 team, or ♥♥♥♥-mothering Amarant on his own at level 1 if you know what you're doing.

The duel in the opening has the right amount of simultaneous ease and difficulty. It's easy to get cocky halfway through before it throws new prompts at you, leading to mistakes. But those mistakes drive you to try again when you see that any less than 100 of the nobles were impressed. Your reward being a huge sum of gil for the early game and one of only four obtainable moonstones in the game, allowing early learning of Beast Killer and Shell, both very useful abilities on top of its side quest and synthesis usage.

Going back to the moonstone, the friendly spirits quest requires one and several other gems and it feed right back into Ozma, letting your non-magic attacks actually hit him while lessening the Doomsday/Curse spam.

Mognet, while not super important added flavour to the world, gave some insight into what the side cast are up to while you're out fighting zombie dragons and whatnot in a non-intrusive manner.

The Stelazzo having a fun side story relegated to their key item descriptions that leads you to one of the most satisfying finales to a world-spanning collection quest I've seen in any game period.

Hades being a fun superboss with not only the best synth shop in the game which can add to the game's already great ending, but an additional comment from the boss himself if you took out Ozma before meeting him.

Frog Catching had a WEIRD amount of thought put into it. Getting 99 takes commitment, but rewards you with another fun side boss that almost treads into superboss turf. That's on top of all the useful rewards you get from it. Having to figure out that leaving a male/female frog for the swamp to repopulate without the internet as a kid was honestly fun and I miss that age of games not holding my hand through everything.

Collecting Blue spells was fun if a little tredious. Some of the most overpowered spells in the game are exclusive to Quina's pool. Night in particular is plain broken, but Frog Drop is also great since it gives them an equivalent to Dragon's Crest/Thievery for guaranteed max damage.

Thievery is a great concept on its own, it encourages stealing, Zindane's main profession, in order to cap its damage. Stealing feels more meaningful in general to IX than most of the series because again, it rewards you with better gear an items before you'd otherwise be able to get them.

Finding out the four armed man's name by means of finding most of the chests in the game is another great way to encourage exploration and is a fun little easter egg for long time FF fans who hit the max treasure hunter rank.

Learning that the amount of a given gem type you posess powers up it's respective summon, the different moves Carbuncle and Fenrir could use depending on which gem you equip to Eiko. Features like that just aren't common enough in JRPGs period.

Game's got a lot of soul that none of the other entries have come close to hitting for me and that's saying nothing about the story as a whole. It's my favourite for a lot of reasons and will continue to be probably for the rest of my life unless they release an actual full remake that respects the storybook ascetic of the original. Fat chance knowing modern Square. :2016bee:

Main problem with FF1 is the balance of classes was horrible.

I can give an example. Lets say for example you have
Warrior
Warrior
Black Mage
White Mage.

Because you may like having more fighters. Problem is you will run out of black magic really fast, and hitting enemies individually will lead to them draining your health. So Then you take up your Potions or White magic to heal yourself. And that goes way too fast away because you have no way of using offense attacks often.

So then what do you do? You run away, like a Brave Sir Robin song. I dont think thats what people like when playing RPGs, but thats just me : D
https://youtu.be/jYFefppqEtE

This is why FF1 is such an unbalanced game. The only way to make it tolerable is
(Any class you like)
Red Mage
Black Mage
White Mage

So to me i just think the design got better after first game. Which is why they have went with "Easy difficulty" from FF1 Origins on PS1 in future installments, because i think even they knew how broken the original one was. So having more magic points was a way to make up for it.

I thought the GBA Dawn of Souls version was pretty good. They even added a post game dungeon with a bit more story to it.

I read your reply and I was like, "What did I say about FFI again?" lol

That was a looooooong time ago, man. That was PS1 era lol I don't remember playing it actually. I just remember I cleared it. Then I tried the all WHM party and was like Nah I'm good. lol
I've only played remakes of 3 and 4 on DS, 7, 12 and 7 remake.

I feel like I have the biggest fondness of OG 7. Didn't finish 12 but really liked it. Liked 3. Loved 4. 7 Remake may be at the bottom for me as of now, but I'm still really excited to see what happens in the rest of the installments.
For the best one ever made I'm going to say FINAL FANTASY XIV (yes, the MMORPG). I've never seen a FINAL FANTASY game more complete. Now, in this order for me:

1. FINAL FANTASY XIV Endwalker
2. FINAL FANTASY TACTICS
3. FINAL FANTASY VIII
4. FINAL FANTASY XII
5. FINAL FANTASY VII
6. The rest.

I haven't played Stranger of Paradise yet. Can't say if it's any good. I have played ever Final Fantasy game except that one.

They all have their own strengths and weaknesses. FF1 and FF4 are good for nostalgia and laid out the tropes the others have since followed, but haven't really aged too well all other things considered. Not bad, just dated.

FF6 has an excellent story and well developed characters. FF6 is also notable for being the only FF villain to actually obtain what they want.

7 is similar to 6 but wanted to take character progression in a new way (Materia) and easily wins the minigame category with the Gold Saucer and chocobo racing. Great story, well developed characters, though some things haven't exactly aged well (with coal being stated to be better than mako power). The characters look like they're made of lego.

8 has a few more anime tropes in it. At its core, FF8 is a love story. The main villain, Ultimecia, is mostly an afterthought compared to the relationship between Squall and Rinoa. Mostly limited by its weird junction system, though if you learn how it works, you can basically become totally overpowered in the first disc. Graphically much better, introduced Triple Triad.

9 is a true return to the original FFs, character progression is solid, story is great, nothing really to complain here. Some people might prefer the more technologically advanced FFs like 7 and 8 but there's nothing fundamentally wrong with 9. Kuja perhaps isn't the most memorable villain but I think that's the only real complaint I could levy against it, and even then it feels kind of a weak complaint

10's a huge leap forward, big fan of it. Some might be a bit confused with the story at first, but it's ultimately a father/son (or daughter) story at its core. Main villain is...well, it's kinda hard to say who the main villain is. Leaving this out because spoilers.

Never played 11.

12 was my first introduction into Ivalice and overall it felt more of a small-scale FF than the others. You weren't fighting to save the world, you're fighting to save nations. So maybe some people prefer the more grand and epic stories, but I found this one to be good too.

Biggest weakness of 12 IMO was the really confusing sidequest system.

"Without this hunt, I cant do this Sidequest"
"Without this Sidequest, I cant go to the Barheim Passage"
"Without the Barheim Passage, I cant get this Esper"
"Without this Hunt, I cant get this key"
"Without this key, i cant do this puzzle"
"Without this puzzle, i cant get this Esper OR this key item"
"Without this hunt, i cant get this key"
"Without this key, i cant complete this sidequest"
"Without this Sidequest, I cant get this Esper"
"I need 10 Espers to get to Zodiark"
"Without this hunt, i cant get this key"
"Without this key, i cant go to Site 11"
"Without Site 11, i cant fight Gilgamesh OR Do this hunt"
"Without this hunt, i cant get this key"
"Without this key, i cant fight Hell Wyrm"
"Without Hell Wyrm, I cant fight Yiazmat"
"Without Yiazmat, I cant fight Omega Weapon"
"Without Omega Weapon, Yiazmat, Or Gilgamesh, I cant get the Wyrmhero Blade!"

13 has good characters saddled in really, really weird storytelling and extremely annoying game mechanics, most notably the idea of having your party leader die means you get a game over. I liked Lightning and Snow and Hope, but the game sure just got in its own way a lot of the time.

14, the MMO, is brilliant. It has a bit of a slow start and has trouble getting new players started, but if you pay attention to the story, it'll reward you again and again. Video in point: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LM08VrEs6k

15 felt a lot like 13 in that it has good characters in really, really weird storytelling. The game mechanics at least were improved. I like the characters, it's just that the storytelling was really really weird and got in the way of the game a lot of the time. I had a vague idea as to what was going on, but not really WHY.

Personally, I like well developed and interesting characters far more than a good story. Not to say that good storytelling isn't important, but if I don't like the characters, then I really don't care what happens to them or why. So this sounds right up my alley.
Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII
My favorites were 4 and 7. I've got to give 6 scope, but there were so many characters and subplots the game just got messy and lost focus. I really hated 8, I know that one tends to be polarizing for fans.

You didn't really need too much magic in 1, IMO the easiest party was three grandmasters and a red wizard. They take a while to get started, but once the grandmaster's unarmed damage surpasses their armed damage, they really take off. Warrior/Knight and Thief/Ninja were kind of useless in that game though.

I went to a Baptist middle school, and I wanted to read Spirit's Within for a book report, but the school was against it. The teacher let me read it anyway and it was a pretty solid book for a grade school kid.

When I say, "The School," it was basically a big Baptist Church that had a small private school.

The one thing that I think that sucks about FFXIV is that there is no in-game parser. I know people are heavily divided on the use of third party programs. I'm not sure what the most recent take it by YoshiP, but the last time I heard him speak on it was when he said it's not really any different than using a calculator and manually entering all the data. Plus, there's a Battle Log on your chat by default.

ACT makes me a better player. That's my experience.
The whole story with Cloud (FF7).
FF XV on the 2nd.

Most people which i talked about FF first remember always Cloud & Sephiroth.
Sephiroth was and still is one of top evilest video game characters all time. :AOEShield:
