You can assume correctly that a certain plot device doesn’t allow Yuffie to come in contact with Cloud & Co. in Midgar.
Her fighting style is interesting (in a good way) but we should get to see more of that in Rebirth.
I have been keeping track of Square Enix steam sales for the past few years and the most they will come out for their "hot/recent titles" is 50%. I have played FF15 on PS4 as well, but planning to get the DLCs to replay them again. FF15 never have a discount more than 50% and the base price has maintained ever since the Steam launch. This is a 6 year old game (console launch) and is quite absurd for them to still be charging such a high base price still.
Following the pattern, the best discount to get FF7 remake on PC would be at 50% which is most likely next year (summer?). I feel is unlikely it will be at 50% discount anytime soon.
