Save file transfer?

Hi! I had download the game from fitgirl repack,when the game was cracked,and I have finished it with getting all weapons materials and etc.. i have recently bought to steam,and i wanted to ask if there is any way to transfer my saved files from the cracked game to steam??? I tried to copy paste them,but when I start the game to Steam,the saved files doesn't appear in the game!! Does anyone knows a way to transfer them? Or i have to play it from scratch?

Pirated games sometimes have weird locations. Make sure you have transferred the right the right files.
Somtimes they say its in documents but it is in Public/documents instead of YOUNAME/documents. ETC so check its the right files.

You could always try downloading a save online or just hack

Version disparity also leads to corrupted saves in many games.
And there were updates for ff7r.

Its the right file's causes I've made a new save to see if the date will change, and it was. So i took the new save and transfer it along with the others and nothing! I have read somewhere that the steam has ID account names inside the saves so that you won't be able to transfer other saves cause of trophies and etc..

If it helps, there's a save editor that can at least get your equipment and materia back.

Really??? Actually that's what i want, I don't care for the process of the game,i can finish it again,the equipment is what i care the most!!!! I've been through a hell to get the bahamunt (don't remember how it's spelled) 🙂 anyway.. i have done the flights again and again to get this material and tifas last weapon which is also there if i remember correct!! Generally all the inventory its the problem,cause ive spend a lot of time to gather them all!! Do you know how i can get them???
