Mods no longer working after update
So I recently did an entire playthrough of the game with various mods (QoL, Costumes, Weapons, etc.) with no issue. After the latest update, no mods are working. I have used Nexus mod manager, Fluffy mod manager, put mods in manually, updated the FFVII Hook.ini file, and nothing so far is working. I even deleted previous mod files to make a clean install, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, nothing has worked. And if I attempt to just play the game with my previous mods, I get 2 different fatal errors at start-up.

And before anyone suggests, no, switching to DX11 didn't fix it. Is anyone else having/had this problem? What am I missing?

Current specs:
i7-9700KF 3.6 Ghz
ASRock Z390 Pro 4 Motherboard
32 gigs DDR4 Corsair Ripjaws RAM
AMD Radeon 5700 GPU
1TB M.2 SSD
Windows 11 OS

UPDATE: Was able to ensure that the INI file was properly optimized. Oxford King on YT has great settings that still work with the latest file:

For the mdos, keeping them still in a zip file used to work but not anymore. Just extracted them entirely into the ~mod file in SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE\End\Content\Paks and it should work

You just need some mods to be updated to work with the new version of the game. This happens with mods when games are updated. So please be patient and wait for them to be updated.

For some mods, I can see that being the case, but there are others that haven't been updated since 2021 that still worked on the last update. What your saying isn't wrong but that means that NOTHING works on this new build. Many modders have abandoned modding the game so its never going to be updated. If that's the case, fine but I would much rather try everything I can to get these to work instead waiting for something that may never happen.

Well you could try and fix them yourself if it's that important to you. Often times all it takes is updating the mod with its proper new DIR structure (though if you're getting crashes, then at least one of your mods probably has a file that's been updated in the new update , but that doesn't mean the rest aren't fine)

Could also try going onto the Discord and asking for help or even see if anyone is willing to update them

For what it's woth, I have four mods -- two gameplay and two graphical -- and all of them still work. Though the graphical ones is just stuff already in the game anyway.
