XBox One Controller not working?

I can't navigate game menus or anything even after the initial startup.

Wired. I've not had any troubles with any other games that have controller support, but this one seems to just not take any input at all from the controller.

Try re-installing xbox drivers. In Steam control settings. Unmark the xbox controller, then mark it again.

Or just unmark it. Since its wired, it should be recognized.

So I guess Steam wasn't recognizing the controller for some reason, weird since it works fine for all other games, but whatever. I toggled that checkbox a few times and it eventually recognized the controller and now everything works. Thanks

Turn off Steam Xbox controller support. The game already has full controller support, enabling the Steam Xbox controller support just confuses the game and it won't work.
