Audio Crackling
Has anyone found a fix for the audio crackling? In Chapter 2 this basically becomes unplayable with an obnoxious audio bug just crackling away that even drowns out dialogue and persists through cutscenes. One of the first cutscenes has chapter 2 opens up i could not hear any character dialogue at all as it glitched their voices out completely and was just a persistent crackle. Any help is appreciated as the FFVIIHOOK mod isn't updated to support steam which supposedly has a fix.

The only thing i have found is that the FFVIIHook mod was updated to work for steam: https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy7remake/mods/74

Download and follow the instructions and then you should be able to press ~ to open the dev console. When the audio messes up you can open the dev console and type:

au.SetAudioChannelCount 1
au.SetAudioChannelCount 0

This seems to reset the audio and some sources of audio don't return until the scene reloads. So in the case of fire crackling causing the distortion it seems to eliminate the fire source and probably others. It's not ideal but its the best i have found so far.

I find I don't have to constantly open the console after doing that.

I do have this set in my ini but somehow still seem to have to do the 1 0 fix as well occasionally.
