i tested this game on a RX 580 and Vega 64 no issues and these are older cards and im using the Epic version. Stutering depends on alot of factors and on the condition and Specs of your PC but it is still present

Most of the issues that people had were easily fixed by mods. The PC port overall is still WAY more superior than the ps4 and ps5 versions. When you can have over 120+ FPS and play it on 4k, you know its better. PS5 can't even do it at 4k and are always stuck at 60 FPS.

I play almost only on PC (aside from very niche console games, mostly switch) but yes this port looks almost like my ps4 version (aside from hdr, i had a ps4 fat) on a bravia xr "maxed" out (there are mostly no settings so...)
This is officialy one of the worst recent port, not that terrible as FFXII etc. but the were like 50% less expensive (still too much considering the joke)

Over half the private profile accounts are console trolls. It has already been proven by streamers. Problem is, Valve don't give two ♥♥♥♥♥. Unless its like a life or death situation, nothing they really can do other than ban them from the forums.

Only reason is Valve is super greedy and takes more of the profits. EPIC is trying to win more devs over to their side and using their store more than steam. Problem is steam has been here for years and many gamers have super huge libraries that most of the gamers WON'T go to EPIC unless there is a way to port ALL the games over to EPIC without having to pay and knowing EPIC, they won't do it cause that is money they will lose on.

As i've mentioned earlier, between console elitists demanding to see the failures of Japanese games on Steam, the few instances where they actually get their wish, and Japanese game developers just being superstitious towards PC gaming in general, I'm about ready to think that whatever deals are happening between Square-Enix and Epic Games are a necessary evil

What are you going on about? If PS5s and 3090tis were real, I'd of seen them in stores at some point. They obviously don't exist. Also, are people seriously paying $80 for FFVII's first disk?

What Sony are actually doing is putting entries on PC way after they came out on Playstation then announcing sequels knowing that PC gamers know they won't see them for around 1-2 years after the PS version. This irritates PC gamers and plants a seed in their minds that they need to buy a PS5, and this will just nag at the gamer the more trailers come out for the sequel and nag them more and more the closer to launch the title gets. Like with Gacha studios they employ teams of psychologists to come up with this stuff.

NGL , a lot of the console games nowadays do not interest me, Lots of hype for barely average games. also sony have this thing with WALKING SIMS and i find it incredibly boring. aswell as more expensive games, paying extra for online, the console itself is still being scalped.

they could tell me tomorrow, no more games ever will be coming to pc and i still wont buy a playstation again. the good days are long gone.

Exactly. While it should be common sense, having a powerful PC doesn't magically make it immune to problems. Some people are too proud to admit that the problem may be on their end so they blame the game instead.

@ OP, It's butter smooth because it's not running native 4K on PS5. I am fortunate enough to have both PS5 AND the Epic store versions. Sorry to burst your bubble but The PC version is superior. Especially as i'm running at a constant 120FPS on my OLED 4k. But do i crap on the PS5, NO. Because I will be playing REbirth (part2) on it long before PC gets the better version. Also loading times are down to CPU to GPU through ram. And just for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles i tested them. My Ryzen 5900x loads all Final Fantasy areas 25% faster then PS5. from an SSD.

You are my hero.
Buyed the same game twice. Beeing smart must be your superpower.

Ok, so are we suppose to enchant our PC then? Add a stuttering debuff. Which runes would I need for this particular enchantment? Or maybe the port is trash. Digital Foundry already did an analysis and came to that conclusion. I take their word over some rando with no proof.

And that's why PC gaming is dead. There is literally Zero Quality Control on the ♥♥♥♥ that comes for PC and you fools are paying full price for this Garbage pretending that it's Gold.
