Do you need to play through the main game to play Intergrade?

I played the game a lot on my PS4, but I don't have a PS5, so I could never play the stupidly PS5-exclusive DLC for a PS4 GAME.

Can I just play the Intergrade parts if I get this? Or do I have to play through the main game again first?

You can just play Intermission by itself if you wish. Doesn't require having played the main part.

Intergrade is the main game, it's the name given to the enhanced version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. INTERmission is the DLC with Yuffie that's included.

You don't need to have played the original, but it makes many references to the original. It becomes self-aware near the end and there's a big reason for that ... the story is intentionally different, because we're heading into multiverse territory with this one.

Well like I said, I already played the original on my PS4. I just don't have a PS5 to play Intermission.

on the main menu you just press a bottom to change from main game to the yuffie DLC, the upper right corner shows which one is currently active
