PARASITE EVE 1 REMAKE

I'm already allergic to Final Fantasy, when can I play PARASITE EVE 1 REMAKE?

I'd enjoy this so much more if they updated the change lock-on control method to match the improved Rebirths method. As in not tying the enemy tracking camera to you using the thumbstick to switch target whilst if you choose D-pad to switch it turns of auto follow. I may end up quitting this without completing it and just jumping into Rebirth. Did play the Rebirth demo and they've de-linked switching locked on targets and the camera so you can set change target to D-Pad or thumbstick without it disabling auto follow.

I'd love a Parasite Eve Remake but I'm looking forward to the FFIX remake..just hoping it's not a multi part remake like FF7 or I'll likely be dead before getting to play the last part

I wouldn't want them to remake PE if they are still as prudish as they currently are, having censored Tifa's bouncy bits or her shirt. Imagine the current Square Enix's reaction when they find out PE has Aya Brea's shower scene.

I played Parasite Eve 1 1,000,000 times on PS 1, it's the best game in the world! dialogues must be constantly pressed on the button for them to pass, Squaresoft has not justified itself in this, and will not yet justify itself in not creating a remake of PARASITE EVE 1!!!

Imagine thinking Square cares about Parasite Eve at all, hoping for a remake, and thinking they'll do it any justice while asking on the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Steam forum.

You could instead just emulate Parasite Eve.

Let them at least release a new CD for PS 1 with an update that will make it possible to skip dialogues

Wouldn't that just be Third Birthday?

Same writing style for its twists as the 7 Sequel Trilogy with trying to go for big concepts (like multiverses, time travel and all that) but removing the depth and original intention of things, only done even worse.

They'd most likely pull a similar twist where the remake you're playing isnt actually a remake but a sequel. Where Aya goes back in time after Third Birthday instead of dying and looses her memories. And then keep those reveals going until the final part inevitably doesn't answer the questions in a satisfying way.

Third Birthday is the worst of Square Enix, but their current new stories like 7R do share characteristics of thinking they are way smarter than they really are.

If their minds are resurrected and they begin to create a sequel to Parasite Eva, it will be grandiose, but Parasite Eva 1 cannot be compared with anything, a masterpiece remains a masterpiece, cannot be replaced with anything
