Lighting problems?

Game looks perfect during the night but during the day is kinda weird. Im not using HDR. And I dont like but dont mind when its too bright and takes a sec to adjust the brightness which seams to be intentional. But....

But look at this image, is this how its supposed to look or do I have a setting wrong? Because this is just way to bright (brightness setting is the lowest). The kid looks like he's under 10 bright lights. never expect Midgar of all places to be this sunny.

its not the biggest deal, I was just wondering if its normal to look like this or not.

That does appear to be too bright even at the default brightness setting. The fact it looks like this at the lowest definitely seems abnormal. I can't say for sure. That appears to be a bright spot when I double checked YouTube so you don't seem alone but I don't recall anything looking like that in my playthrough. Can't check atm though to confirm on my end.

Its just in some spots, seams like the lighting is a bit wonky. I didn't remember it from my first playthrough but that was ps4 so this one is a different lighting system. Will mess with the options a bit trying to solve it, or else just deal with it. Not many "sunny" days left anyway.
