The second game, Rebirth, is reportedly about 80-100 hours for just a first run and ends at the Forgotten capital. So you are getting a lot of gameplay in these remakes. Part 3 is still in development.
Ah ok, so they added a lot to Midgar, and part two will end when Sephiroth does his thing to a certain party member.
Standard run, probably around 30-40 hours for the base section of the game. Probably 4-10 for the Yuffie/DLC section. If you are going for all achievements, depends a bit on you, and if you skip cut scenes, but around 80 sounds to be the norm.
As for Rebirth, the next title only available on PS5 as of this writing, I can totally see over 100 hours. I am around 70 and have at least a few more chapters, plus whatever end/post game stuff there is to do.
For Rebirth (whenever it releases on PC) if going for 100% you can expect easily over 100 hours. I'm at 110 hours into Rebirth and still have some endgame challenges and Hard mode to complete.
The story isn't 1:1 with the original FYI. Some things have been changed, though the full effect of those changes is unknown since the trilogy isn't complete yet.
No. It does not carry over.
It doesnt carry, but a few summons are only available in rebirth if you own ff7 remake (save file).
Ps: this is for ps5 version. No idea how they gon do steam version
I’ll go ahead, and move forward with the purchase. Thank you guys.
Enjoy!
I'll be honest, it's a been a total grind for me. I took my time in the early stages of the game but since 30 hours I've been absolutely gunning for the end and it cannot come soon enough. I haven't touched the Yuffie missions. Can't see myself bothering.
I literally came to this thread to find out how much further I have to go haha
You are at...the end of the main game. There are the Yuffie DLC missions (about 4-10 hours), Hard Mode, and a couple extra VR challenges. Possible side quests and alternate choices you didn't do.
But, yeah, that's about it. That's part 1 of this trilogy.
