They added a black undershirt to cover Tifa's cleavage in a cinematic.
Nothing else was fixed.
i own it on ps4 and i'm playing the Yuffie dlc right now. no joke. i held off on buying it again because it was 70 dollars. i literally paid 85 dollars for this game already along with the dlc, and now i'm seeing square is going and censoring things even though its a 4 year old game. i cannot believe this is allowed. i was so hyped for the upcoming rebirth, but now that i see what lines square is willing to cross, i'm not sure i should get it. what if in 4 years from now they censor the swimsuit scenes with tifa because of DEI bs going even further with their agenda? im so sick of this timeline we are in, wish it would end .
if it's so minute, then why go to a 4 year old game to make the change in the first place?
yeah it does. i lived in a time period where this never happened. once you buy a game, changes should not be made to it in the name of DEI bs. You might be a young dude who doesn't understand where we are coming from , this might all be normal to you. Not everyone thinks like you
I remember buying Final Fantasy 6 on the SNES. Plenty of things were censored in that game. It had a lot of partial nudity that was covered up in the English release. Censorship is as old as gaming. If you remember differently; you remember wrong.
i highly doubt u were around back then, you just dont seem like you are from my time. defending these corporations is something i only see from this new generation. ok and yes, censorship has always been around, but never has it been implemented in patches several years later, if so please name them. and no its not a counter argument to avoid answering, you are very anti consumer if you think these practices are ok just because they are so small and insignificant. it has to be called out because if you let stuff like this slide, it will lead to bigger instances happening in the future. this right here proves that our libary of games can be altered at anytime in ways we might not like. you just don't see the bigger picture, which is another reason why i doubt you aren't of the old generation
