Putting aside weird tyrannical (and woefully unrealistic in aim) goals of globalist organizations, when you buy a car you're actually buying the car. It's a physical object that you're trading wealth for. Even if you're financing it, you're still in writing taking over ownership of the car. When you buy a game on Steam, you're not taking ownership of the game itself. You're taking ownership to a license to play it, that license is subject to a bunch of different terms and conditions. You agreed to these terms and conditions. If you didn't like the terms, you could have refunded. Instead you agreed. Now that one of those terms and conditions came up, you're acting like victims.

And yet more ad hominem, but not one actual merit based point in favor of your own view. Can't say that's surprising though. Sometimes I forget that I'm talking with individuals who believe that shrieking online about something is going to make multi-billion dollar corporations stop and change their mind. In the couple years I've seen large long running corporations lose tens of millions of dollars because they stuck to their choices. I applaud them in their dedication to the march of bankruptcy. Maybe losing the money of people who only play Final Fantasy for how the females are portrayed will bankrupt them.

Maybe losing your dollars will cost them enough money that they change their minds. But I definitely wouldn't bet on that. And I'd also bet that you all end up buying the next installment anyways.

And they somehow think they can try and reverse shame people into not pointing it out, on the basis of "censorship". A cry of censorship implies one wants regulation to prevent said censorship. So what these people are saying they want is for laws to FORCE square to show them said digital imagery.

It’s genuinely hilarious how nobody in the last 4 years cared about, payed attention to or had a problem with that cutscene. It never was a big deal, never was a problem until they all of sudden had the fix it.
