FF 7 Rebirth PC release?
Any news or speculation as to when we'll get a PC release for Rebirth?

Anyone's guess at this point. Very minuscule chance of a summer release when exclusivity ends on May 29. Realistically probably a year minimum for an Epic release and another 6 months after that for Steam release. FF16 hasn't even come to PC yet and it's getting close to a year since release. That PC release is still TBD (but assumed to be within the year). I can't see Rebirth coming to PC before 16.

they are going to milk the ps5 people for a year or 2 then bring it to pc market

Like RIP said, wait for FF16 on PC first, or at least an official release date, to have a better prediction for Rebirth on PC.

Also note, after the exclusivity window passes, this does not mean that the PC release will be here. There are plenty of things that need to be ported to the PC first before this game can even function on a PC.

And if you compare the timeline with the Remake, that took almost 1 year and 6 moths. However, I guess (yes, it is a guessing game at this point). Take the notes from RIP. A year the minimum. Just to lower the expectations here.

Probably within the next 12-15 months.

If rebirth doesn't release pretty much when exclusivity ends? Most likely at the end of this year or early 2025.

FF16 port (different team than FF7R)
FF14 expansion

They will avoid overlapping releases and 16 will be later this year based on the claim it will be released "soon".

"were", not "was". /end grammar fixation

100% agreed. Publicity builds upon publicity, and letting it decline too far by waiting too long would have a negative impact on PC sales numbers. It's in their best interest to release for PC as soon as possible.

Nah they know what they're doing. They will hold out and get as many people to buy a Ps5 just to play the game. They know the people that want to play it will still buy it when the PC version releases.

you know i was thinking that it would come to pc around this year however i think that because square enix just canceled a bunch of stuff the pc release was also probably scrapped as well but thats just a theory.

They will probably stair step release with FF16 which is going to be first so FF7 Rebirth will not be until after that on PC.

maybe they will go epic exclusive first, just saying they have done it before I think
