I played Remake on the PS4 Pro. These are my captures from back then.

Not that it matters since OP admitted to lying about her chest.
Unfortunately the in game models in Rebirth don't look anywhere near as good as this. Play the demo and from Cloud to Sephiroth and everyone in between, they significantly reduced texture detail and I wouldn't be surprised if poly count was severely cut down as well.
It only makes sense, though, because of the more open world. That's just how it is.
I'm interested in seeing what the blender artists have seen. DO you have any links or names to more information?
I never misrepresented the truth; they did increase her chest size, but not by merely adjusting a slider to enlarge it. Simply upsizing wouldn't address the nuances of shape and movement.
Here are the facts: In the process of enhancing all the character models, they reshaped her chest, making it larger and more defined. It’s akin to inflating a balloon; adding more air does indeed increase its size, contrary to the argument that only acquiring a larger balloon constitutes an increase.
Regarding the models in Rebirth, they are indeed superior. However, the criticism centers on specific technical flaws: notably, the lack of sophisticated lighting techniques, excessively blurry shadows—a step back from what the Remake achieved—and numerous instances of low-quality textures.
It's crucial to distinguish between models and textures. A model can be expertly crafted, but applying poor textures and inadequate lighting can undermine its quality.
Focusing on character models, Aerith's original model in the Remake lacked defined curves, appearing almost unhumanlike without adjustments. Artists frequently had to modify her hips and chest in Blender to achieve a more natural appearance. Her silhouette in the Remake was largely defined by her dress, which used a distinct texture model, revealing inconsistencies such as untextured skin areas under her jacket sleeves.
In Rebirth, adjustments were clearly made to Aerith's model to ensure a more natural appearance, particularly noticeable in scenarios like wearing a bikini. These modifications include larger hips and more defined legs—changes that we, as Blender artists specializing in NSFW animations, are particularly attuned to.
Final point: I've spent enough time trying to clarify this issue. Rather than debating endlessly, I suggest downloading Blender for free, along with the unaltered character models from both the Remake and Rebirth. Compare them yourself in Blender; the differences should become clear. Discussing graphics with someone who assumes a superior understanding without acknowledging the complexity of model design, texture quality, and lighting effects is futile.
You've pointed out Rebirth's lighting and texture issues, but failed to grasp that these elements are separate from the models or polygon counts. A higher poly count facilitates better textures, but doesn't guarantee their utilization. This implies potential for higher resolution textures in future hardware upgrades, while maintaining current standards on existing platforms. Please, refrain from lecturing a graphics artist on these matters.
Several reverse engineering forums lately have shut down/secluded them selfs so that doesn't help
Mostly its to earlier
They walked back their original statement from the thread opener.
Maybe you should let go.
I never walked back my statement, I clarified how they increased her chest which is now in fact bigger. Don't put words in my mouth and go make some friends, learn how to properly socialize instead of constantly looking for fights.
You clarified in a very roundabout way how her chest "seems" bigger despite not actually having been increased.
Now you're doubling down.
And for some reason you can't back up any of your statements.
Because honestly dude, your a hater. All your posts (in other forums)) are about fighting or lecturing other people. Honestly I regret even replying above to you but I'd forgotten to un-sub from this thread, I've already explained everything and how to do it yourself.
Honestly if my fans under my animator handle new I was in a steam forum having this conversation they'd be like wtf am I doing wasting my time with this. Its just dumb waste of time with zero reward for me. I'm out, better things to do like animate.
I know it is hard; I'm finding it difficult myself. I always reply, hoping that sound logic and arguments covering the core issue will have a positive effect on these people, but the reward is always inexistent.
That is because the intent of these immature and secretly self-loathing antagonists is always to pick a fruitless fight. They feel rewarded to see you giving them your energy, knowing very well (or not) that they are not in a real debate. They are just projecting their self-conflict and use irrationality disguised in semi rationality to give their ego an impression of power over others.
In real life you can deal with them differently, and they usually use other personas anyway.
But on the internet my friend, there is only one way: completely ignore them.
1. See the intent behind,
2. realize that you realized it and
3. realize that some people deserve your time and energy.
That is the only way. Zero risk, zero loss, and you even grow some useful personal virtue by not engaging in fruitlessness, which is a fight that extends to many things in life haha.
Keep creating.
And happy new year.
This is your brain on porn.
