Should I buy a PS5 for rebirth or just wait for it to come to PC?

I will buy a PS5 - even considering I don't want to - if they announce it will be an Epic Exclusive. I dislike Epic business model, and I won't stand the delay. I just hope I can transfer my game data to Steam, when they release it here - and I ended up paying for the game here aswell.

I've bought consoles, VR headsets and even gaming PCs just for 1 game before. I'm at a point in my life where those aren't significant expenses for me, so if I want it I buy it.

Especially with the PS5 there will eventually be more games you want to play anyways, so it really just boils down to you. How are your finances and how much will a purchase like this set you back?

In my case, I'm grateful to be in a point where I can buy it without setting me back, but there are other things I would rather buy. I guess the best option for me would buy the PS5 version that can read disks, at least it can be used for something. Does PSN still sell old playstation games, like Silent Hill and stuff like that?

I guess that is the path to take.

That never stopped other games being released on PC day 1. Helldivers 2 for example sold more on PC than Playstation or so I heard.

I have a PS5 and was going to play it there but its blurry in performance mode. I'm going to wait for them to fix it, or provide a PS5 Pro patch. If they don't, then i'll just wait for PC.

Sad as I have the platinum trophy for Ps5 and would love to get it for Rebirth as well.

Wait for PC, the game is unplayable on PS5, the demo looks just a tad better than FF13 and Ff14
In graphics mode: low detail, low quality textures, stuttering, everything slow, character models look x360 period, in the game menu Sephiroths hair looks like flat 2D texture lol [no hair effect like on witcher 3 PC]

Since 1 years i have the same dilemma than OP. (but in addition to FF game's , i would like to play Spiderman 2 and i have a dozen of PS4 game awaiting to be upgrade .)

wait for it ps5 version is blurry at 60fps and they havent fixed 16 also so i highly doubt rebirth will be fixed. on PC dlss or fsr should fix it and its only 3 month exclusive. So i highly doubt wait will be that long

At least NOW you can buy the f*cking console without heaving to pay scalpers. In germany the console was listed for normal price on amazon just about near the end of last year despite being out since 2? years. Before that the console was nowhere available in my country despite Ebay with +50-100% scalper extra.
