Good
-Combat seems even better
-Consistent 60fps on Performance mode
-VA and overall presentation are still really good
Bad
-Graphics are pretty washed out (performance mode)
-Overly slow walking/gameplay sections
-Climbing is slow/stiff
-Lack of controller feedback for normal attacks (might be a demo issue)
-Motion blur. Not as bad as FF16, but still enough to annoy
The demo is essentially the tutorial so some things are just slower paced in general. The washed out graphics are pretty disappointing. Remake looks great and runs great on PS5, so I was really hoping for very similar performance. I'll hold judgement until the full release, but am disappointed so far. The combat has some nice improvements like perfect parry and non-magic ranged attacks. Vibrations for attacks seemed a little low. Still incredibly excited for this game!
