I think DLC will be with Vincent as playable character like Yuffie was in Remake. (at least fingers crossed :D I hope he is, because in full game he is not playable, just a companion
Here's my 2 cents.
I'm almost certain we won't get any news for Rebirth before the Game Awards. Why the Game Awards? I wager they're betting on that Game of the Year award, but we'll see.
However I do believe you're on track with FF16 showing up at TGS. I don't think they're planning on announcing both titles simultaneously, that's sales suicide.
now they have to further optimize it for the majority of pcs including steam decks once exclusivity dries up, and I can tell you from my experience with the game; that will be one TALL order. rebirth is staggeringly huge because it's trying to recreate most of ffvii's world map as an open world game.
This is true they stated themselves they couldn't make the world so open towards the end without Sony's help. But PC's in general have more computing power behind them hopefully this will speed things up a bit.
how can a game only on 1 platform be game of the year? Over half of the gaming population hasn't even played it...
Ask TLOU Part 2 and Breath of the Wild that question.
