FFVII Rebirth on STEAM in 2024 ?

Will Square Enix release FFVII Rebirth on Steam in 2024? Or we will have to wait for 2025-2026 ?

Probably Spring 2025. But as of now, there hasn't been any official statement as to what PC platforms it's coming to or when to expect them.

Keep an eye on FF16, that will be a blueprint of what will possibly happen to Rebirth. I doubt Epic will play a role this time around, considering Sony exclusivity was also reduced. I think SE learned their lesson and wants to release the games on all platforms asap.

Square Enix have stated that it isn't available on other platforms until "at least May 2024," hopefully this means there will be a release this year. That said, I'm not holding my breath, I'm expecting end of 2024 at the earliest and even then it could end up being an Epic exclusive.

Unfortunately for me this old PC is all I got. I don't have a PS5. Although I heard in an interview that they regret not selling Remake on Steam sooner so I have hope that it will be on steam relatively soon after the PS5 exclusive deadline ends, which for those who don't know it's gonna be in May.

FF7 remake was a epic exclusive for the time it was was due to the game being made with Unreal Engine 4. Since epic owns unreal Engine they struck a deal to get exclusivity. Since Rebirth is also a Unreal Engine 4 title. its possible Epic might try to get a exclusive deal again.

This dont mean anything. If SE is planning any DLC for Rebirth they will port the PC version when all content is done.

It's definitely not coming to PC in May. That's just the end of full exclusivity period for PlayStation. FF16 had similar messaging in the marketing material, but it'll still be some time before that comes to PC as well.

yeah I think its gonna be on EPIC for 6 months exclusive after PS5, Steam will be the last one who gets it
