Why so mad? Yeah, he is a softy and likes to talk. His weight is irrelevant (sounds like you struggle with your own issues based on this comment). He was never particularly funny in the original game and is basically largely the same.

As for fuming? Odd thing to be so worked up over. Very unhealthy even and not normal.

Wedge is barely in the original game, dude. He has maybe 12-15 text boxes, and his character is as deep as "I like food. I am rolly poly, and I want to be your friend, Cloud."

New Wedge likes cats, still likes food, takes a dog bite on his ass for the team, and warns Cloud about Jessie. Even after the plate falls, he's back there in Sector 7 looking for his cats. Dude's a bro.

New wedge likely had/has a higher rank in new avalanche then Biggs and barret
Tiped off new avalanche while going up to plate 7

Then we get red canyon in reborth and he tells us when barret avalanche split he was ordered to keep a eye on it for the main avalanche

you'll be seeing a bit more of lardo in rebirth
And a tale of cheese burger he couldn't get

By part 3 I'm not going to be surprised if he shacks up with aeirths step mom because he likes her cooking
And there's 14 cats before you go up to a mako cannon
