FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE

FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE

FF7 Remake is a certified walking simulator - Aerith parts are boring
Every part of this simulator involving Aerith is unbelievably boring. Why on earth are we forced to run and walk around the sector and watch her fall and get force walked numerous times. WHY are we forced to watch her pick up a little monster and walk while everyone else is running. WHY are we forced to watch her talk to Marley for 15 minutes and then walk with her (walking some more). The sector plate is literally going to crush everyone and Aerith is literally walking everywhere she can. Where is the urgency. Its unreal how often we are forced to walk in this game. Talk about filling this simulator up with a ton of useless nonsense to extend its "playtime".

I'm glad Aerith gets taken out eventually so I don't have to constantly watch her walk all the time when time is of the essence.

Aerith already knows the future and everything that will happen. Remake is a meta sequel in disguise, where Sephiroth and Aerith are trying to change events.

So her not running away from the plate can maybe be excused as she already knows when it will happen, even if its still ridiculous.

And she probably won't be taken out (like how Zack survives through fanservice), at least not in the same way. They have to play around with fanservice before actually taking her out in a different way in Part 3.

This would be so simple if only the game was named "Final Fantasy 7: Reimagined". Just bad branding, like Final Fantasy: Spirits Within was not a "Final Fantasy" movie, but was just branded that way to sell more.

The game, clearly, is being developed in Stages: the combat engine, the leveling system, the "grind areas", all those will come. As the advanced battles with the weapons, and of course, there will be a third chapter: the whole materia system feels beta, the weapons system feels beta. They are bound to increase, and take feedback, on everything.

I have the book of making off final fantasy, it's impressive the ammount of work, effort and passion in the project.

And it's sort of Retcom, Reimagination and more exploration in some areas. We will see a whole new perspective of the "Cloud with Sephiroth" scenes that we only got to experience little in the original game - and with the changes, who knows?

In my opinion, they should make this game have 4 episodes. Just look at the small details, such as the background art, the music. The same way the first game had three disks, this game will have multiple levels of development and some of those quality of life enhancements will be applied in a new player + mode when it reaches the conclusion.

People stress out over nothing, really. The battle at the bridge, the airbuster revision, the soundtrack, just a few out of a lot of sumons that are coming - and we got 2 extra characters modeled in the "Extra Mode".

We barely got to control Red XIII, he just made a basic cameo.

This will be the only game, when completed, to match Baldur's Gate 3 as the best of 2020.

The game has some good parts and some bad ones. But clearly pacing and the majority of side quests are ass.

Except bg3 is a full game at 60 compared to whenever this is ever completed and if the story isn’t botched.

You're fooling yourself by complaining about the same stuff other people have without actually applying critical thinking.

What do these scenes represent? Non-interactive scenes that would otherwise typically be completely out of your control full on cutscenes or basic standing around dialogue mostly. Instead, the game allows you to immerse yourself in the world by exploring it and having free control over the camera to spectate during a pseudo cutscene/story event. This is literally a straight upgrade, period.

What bugs you is your ADD once you feel the ability to move whatsoever if you don't have total freedom to burst into a run you don't handle it well, but that is entirely a you problem.

Stop insulting people over a little game that obviously has many flaws.

Btw, your two statements contradict themselves:

"Instead, the game allows you to immerse yourself in the world by exploring it and having free control over the camera to spectate during a pseudo cutscene/story event"

"if you don't have total freedom to burst into a run you don't handle it well".

He didn’t contradict himself… you know maybe your issue is that you just don’t understand what the game is trying to do and what the other alternatives would be. How do you think they should have made chapter 8?

Because it's deep and expanded and chracter progression. When you were playing the original back in the 90s, weren't you wondering what kind of daily chores Aeris did while you were walking around piles of trash and broken buildings? I know I sure was!

Makes sense.
