Performance Issues on PC

I know when this game released on Epic it had some massive problems. Did those ever get fixed? The PC Gaming Wiki still lists several issues with no known fix or developer acknowledgement. I'd like to buy this, but I don't want to buy a version of the game that doesn't work right. The issues I am referring to in particular are frame drops and general low frame rate issues.

I've just launched the game and I'm already having some stuttering problems. I came to ask if people had the same problem, i guess i know now

Not a single stutter and I'm on a Laptop so it must be your PC and settings/config.

When I started with the game, I had to switch to DX11 mode to remove the stutter. After that, I got 60 FPS on 1080p with maxed graphics, using a GTX 1070. Recently, I noticed that the Steam overlay doesn't show up on DX11 mode anymore, meaning I can't take screenshots, so I had to remove the DX11 switch. Afterwards, the game still ran without hiccups on 60 FPS with maxed graphics.

Game runs in perfect 60 FPS on my steam deck and in perfect 120 fps on me i7 10700k rtx3080

tbh I dont understand how people complaining about the optimization
My pc can run this game flawlessly at 100-120 fps 1440p resolution at highest setting with HDR on
Yet its struggling to run FF XV at ultra setting.

This game optimization is one of the best PC game I ever seen

Just managed to fix the stuttering on my end, had to download a mod to unlock the Engine.ini, and run the game in DX11. Works perfectly for me now

system paging file control fixes loss of FPS that never goes up again,
'virtual memory'
it's required to be under your control always- for open worlds games, and not microsoft/windows defaults,

For me turning down the shadow resolution to low fix mine but it’s still disappointing to have a system that should be able to handle high shadow resolutions

Actually a update I download special K mod it helps mitigate a lot of the stuttering still does it just not as bad when everything is max I will still lose 7 fps here and their

1. Set the game to use Dx11, add Dx11 from the games launcher in steam.
2. Disable Vsync
3. Set the ingame Shadow Resolution to Low
4. Set Characters displayed to 4 - 6.
5. Limit the game to 120fps from the ingame options menu.
5. Enable Ultra low latency from the Nvida control panel
