In the Remake, Aerith is the one who is afraid of that place and not Cloud. In the Original it is vice versa, and they do imply that place is questionable but Cloud do learn that Wall Market operates differently and needs getting used to. Kinda the whole point of the Sidequests you do for Chocobo Sam and co.
On the surface it tries to be like Gold Saucer but if you venture around the corners of Wall Market there are actually danger shown in he Remake. I appreciate that visual story telling. Its a place where yeah you can be entertained but with 0 guarantee of your safety and might get robbed any second unlike Gold Saucer imo
In remake we get to see it in more detail, which would have still had the same character. I would say the original looked more run down.
Both look just as seedy, it's just in one we have these pristine, and clean graphics.
I googled for an answer and saw that once you advance far enough in the game, like to chapter 14 or so, the chests are no longer blocked by NPC's
I wouldn't want to be around the trouble that would come with the arena or Corneio's.
When you go back in Chapter 14, all those chests are accessible. They aren't missable unless you go to Chapter 15 where everything prior to that is now missable, including side quests.
The arena would be fun. It's similar to Medieval Times here in Toronto.
I'm thinking more like underground cockfighting rings, rather than legitimate themed restaurants.
As an aside, I have always wanted to go to MT. I heard they had some shady anti worker nonsense in the past year or so. Not sure if that was just one location or organization wide.
Yeah, I'll stay away from cockfighting.
Wouldn't know. I live in Canada.
