New Patch - anyone got a fix to get FFVIIHook working again?

I rely on FFVIIHook to get the game looking and performing better on Steam Deck so I'm hoping this can get fixed soon.

Revert back to the previous version. Patch 1.0.0.2 only changed one file[steamdb.info] (ff7remake_.exe), so you can just copy over the 1.0.0.0 version of the file to get FFVIIHook working again.

I have uploaded the file to here[gofile.io]. Extract the file to End\Binaries\Win64 and FFVIIHook will work again.

Out of all the real important issues this game has they fixed nothing but minor issues.

This is the same thing, with a different way of getting the old files. Which is pretty cool in and of itself, for those times when you didnt backup before updating and/or no one else hosted it yet.

That said, the thing that makes it work is 100% identical - copying old version files over the new, updated ones. I wouldnt call either one "official".

I'm still genuinely baffled about this supposed stuttering and/or graphical issues people on Steam seem to be ranting about... Must suck for you. Can't relate, tbh.

The patch was not even a PC spefic patch. PS5 got the same patch I think (idk about ps4 does ps4 support edge controller?)

PS4 has no idea about any DualSense. The PS5 version of the game is still 1.000.000 and I have no updates in DL history.

I think the "for all platforms" is stock verbiage that no one checked, as it seems that it was indeed PC only.

BTW guys I found that the Ascendio mod (manual .ini version) for Hogwarts Legacy works PERFECTLY with this game combined with FFVIIHook. It reduces hitching and stuttering by a large margin. It's just a bunch of engine variable changes placed inside the Engine.ini file.

Does this mean that the DS features are missing then?

Is that 1.0 or 1.001? Did you get it off by downloading a old version of steam?

Thanks, that should be the 1.001 then since the game got patched before it came to steam.
