sony are actively trying to kill the FF brand through third party exclusive payouts
which result in relatively lower then predicted sales eg ff7r only sold 5 mil on pc and ps4 and ps5
so not much at all compared to the original which is near 14 million or 10 million plus for xv
and considering that ff7 is the most loved in the franchise
sony forced lower sales and 16 will be the same
Sony has by far the largest AAA customer base
If a AAA game does well on Playstation it usually sells 10-30 million copies
If a AAA game does well on PC it's usually 1-3 million copies
yeah i think it's easy for the PC master race folk to forget that console gaming is a significantly, immensely larger market (and mobile gaming is exponentially more common than both console and PC, hence why all of these companies are devoting a ton of resources toward it). Most people do NOT play games on their computer, primarily for the simple facts that it's more expensive to get a decent computer that can sufficiently run newly released games, and it requires more work. I say all this from the position of being a PC gamer myself, we just have to remember that we're truly the minority
pc port is garbage
It is up to spec. I'm just worried about the quality of the port.
RTX 2070 Super
Ryzen 5600x
16gb 3200mhz ram
WD Black SN850 SSD
If you are looking to critique its performance then there are more stutters on PC, usually for a second at loading points though not every time. Nothing constant or that is going to affect the gameplay but it is noticeable from time to time. Either way the game still looks great, I have enjoyed playing it on console and PC.
If you are looking to be able to enjoy mods then PC is the obvious choice.
It's fine. My brother have a GTX 1070 and he got ~80fps, max graphics on 1440p. For stuttering you can use: https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy7remake/mods/66

i have no stutters or issues and I didn't mod it besides adding ray tracing to it.
My 3060 PC was $1000.
My 3090 PC was $4000.
Both Optimized the same. Both 32gb ram.
3060 with i7, 3090 with i9.
Both have 240hz monitor.
The 3060 has exactly the same problems as everyone says.
(Bad Stutter, Frame Drops. Unplayable)
The 3090 is buttery smooth like my PS5 and no problems at all with maxed settings and resolution cranked up to highest setting in game menu.
If you want it to play like your PS5. I highly recommend getting a 3090 and newer GPU.
Exactly the same performance that i can't tell a difference.
But at that price point.
If you have to choose between a PC or Console.
It's cheaper to just get the PS5 for $499.
