steam deck + epic games FF7 remake? performance?
does anyone have this combo and tried it? how is it?

go to desktop mode, install firefox, search heroic game launcher, install it, log into epic, install FF7 remake, proton experimental by default should get installed together by default, and just launch game. it might crash, as it did for me, but just try again and it works now.
i havent played more than 5 min so i dont know how save files work. probably wont be able to play on both steam deck and pc, back and forth. gotta choose 1 system to play on til the end.

Works fine. No need for Heroic Game Launcher. Do set it to 40hz and low graphics though. Works even better with FSR.

how do u open games from epic games without heroic game launcher? whats FSR
it looks like you have the steam version.../
