do mods disable achievements?

there are a few mods that I am considering installing from nexus but i dont want to prevent myself from being able to unlock achievements. do they prevent achievements from unlocking?

I would also like to know the answer to this, sorry for necroing an old thread but i cannot find any good info about it, even with my expertise on google-fu.

If its just an extra pak file you put in game files then definitely not. Mods with executable files may or may not disable achievements, depends on mod itself.

I tested it myself, achievements didnt get disabled assuming I remember correctly when I got my last achievement. But I also had only installed mods that change character models while replaying on hard mode.
