As for the question, I haven't quite finished the main game, but the guy on the motorcycle is easily the one I hate most. I'm completely sick of the "I just want to test my skills against yours" trope.
Tifa actually got slightly knocked down the totem for me. She didn't have much going on in the original being, honestly, rather under developed. Seeing her when you first meet her and how unreliable she proves with handling your money and some other issues she simply isn't a reliable friend, is a friend who could actually cause drama/get into trouble, and may not necessarily always be the most sincere with people in contrast to Aerith. However, I don't hate her and as the game progressed she appealed a bit as I kind of expected with some toughening up and minor growth. She does show that, while wreckless and not the most reliable, she tries and cares for those she sees as friends despite her flaws. I expect that with the dev's claim they want to bring Tifa up to par with Aerith and what we've seen in episode 1 that she is going to see major growth and more attention in episode 2 than the original game so we shall see how this turns out.
I see no point in mentioning obvious issues like Palmer so I'll skip them.
Roche would have to be one of my less favorable characters in the episode 1 simply because he is a bit obnoxious and selfish if not necessarily genuinely bad. Seeing him hoping to catch up with Cloud in the Yuffie DLC and opting to play Condor Hero with her since he isn't around was amusing and makes him a bit more acceptable. He could be a kind of interesting character in future episodes, perhaps, but I don't think he will ever not be obnoxious. It is going to be a wait and see what the devs do with him situation.
Hojo goes from being vile in OG to even more tangibly vile in remake episode 1. Probably my least favorite, even among bad guys though Scarlet is not far behind.
Mireille and Kyrie I'm not sure on. It might not be the characters but how ridiculously stupid you have to act around them. So its more the story around them I hate than them. Though Kyrie is pretty annoying.
I pretty much liked everyone else. Roche is hilarious, barrett is funny as well. Cloud, Aerith and Tifa are all awesome.
Chadley really doesn't seem real. I just got into Shinra HQ in the game, and I'm expecting to find that he's an android somewhere along the way.
Why:
Aerith she's bad both words and actions towards Cloud by acting to know him take him and mess him around a complete stranger in sector 5.
After the incident hes worried and in haste got other things to go than be stuck with her play with flowers and wait for dinner..., that just makes me annoyed the whole event to be stuck with her.
Marle dont like her in short because she's feminist and dislike Cloud for his male character for no reason and soft to Tifa, i cant see the fun in this if it was to be suppose to be a mother and princess daughter funny moment against a boy moment instead it felt distreating bad towards Cloud.
Yes, he is kind of a simpleton with poor emotional management but he is likable nonetheless and the way he cares for his daughter is relatable.
He is the pure hearted idiot but less extreme than Hodor in GoT.
