Possibly a reference to the "Young Turks" which are described by wikipedia as a group of military officers that participated in coups and coup attempts in Thailand in the 70s and 80s.

No idea where the "Turks" name came from, though their official name is "Administrative Research" and are a part of Public Security under Heidegger. They have no relation to Turkey the country, from what I can tell.
