So this game on Steam right here right now, Released in June 2022, is the exact game as you could play back in 2020, on PS4? (well minus the Yuffie DLC)?
Your saying this game have Yuffie DLC added?
Or the Ps4 game have Yuffie added?
I'm confused cause other topics here said that Yuffie DLC isn't included in Steam.
I think you get confused what I mean with Remastered, with remastered I mean an updated engine/graphic overhaul/modernized graphics based on the same story, same game, same characters, or incase if this isn't the same story, same game, same character, then I guess it's not a remaster. But as long it's Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Sephiroth, and all other, with the same story, I call it a remaster if it is that.
So it brings the question, is this game / the PS4 game / the PSX game, the same game, or is there differences? (I never played this nor the PS4 game, I played the PSX game when I was a kid)
Also again for the gods knows how many time, this is Part 1 of a 3 part story, the story is BASED on the original game, but follows its own timeline of events, it is pretty much a whole new game entirely so its not "240 for a full game" its 240 for the complete trilogy yes, but each game is its own entry in its own right and is its own full game.
Just the same way as all the star wars movies are just continuations of the main plot, they can really be watched and enjoyed on their own and in any order, you all know the basic plot so you get what is going to happen.
Again another similarity will be with the newer star trek movies the "kelvin timeline" we all know the characters, but they are in a completely different timeline which means what was originally going to happen isn't going to happen the way it was supposed to have happened. but is happening in its own way that still connects to the way it did happen.
This game on steam.. you are on the forums for right now, is the same game that was released as a PS4 exclusive back in 2020, that has all the enhancements that was later added to the PS5 version INCLUDING the DLC hence the "intergrade" part of the name.
The newest version of the original FFVII is the one you have been linked. They use the same graphics and models but backgrounds been lightly blurred and shadows changed. The models have been given more polygons to smooth them out. It's basically a port that was touched up as little as possible to look okay on new hardware.
This is the PS5 version that have improved graphics. You can look up a video comparing PS4 and PS5 version. But there isn't a difference between PS5 and PC.
search a bit more ;) https://screenrant.com/final-fantasy-7-best-versions-worst-best/
You are welcome... then there was the final fantasy 7 movie... and something about Red but those and the above link are the only ones apart from the one we have now
So there is no "Remake"/or "Remastered" version of FF7, this is a new game based on the FF7 universe, with a new plot, a different ending, and different gameplay.
And the only original FF7 or the "Real" FF7, the PSX version one, is impossible to play, cause it's impossible to find a PSX now for sale anywhere, not even including the FF7 game, unless you can be satisfy playing the customized FF7 version on steam (release 2012) with blurred and modified game data? Correct?
And about Yuffie, I remember Yuffie back in PSX days.. the girl with shurikens. Is Yuffie in the PS4 version or the PS5 version or the steam version?
I saw the Final fantasy 7 movie.. Cloud there looked alot like Cloud do in the PS5/Steam version.
So based on this link, the best FF7 version if your being stationary (home) is the Steam version from 2012, and if your being mobile (travelling) it's the Switch version.
forget the phrase "part 1". This is the first game of a trilogy. This is the most up to date and content heavy version of FFVII Remake you will find. There are two more games that will come out, in the future, that will cover the other segments of the original FFVII story that Remake did not reach. The second game will come out Winter 2023 for PS5, and likely Winter 2024 for PC. There is no release date for the third game.
We've reached a point where you really need to just spend some time on google, pretend you're starting from scratch, and start looking into this game again from the very beginning. This thread is only going in circles currently while you keep asking questions based around your misconceptions.
you're basicly saying here that PS4 version have less content then the PS5 version and that either PS4 game or this game is a full/complete game.
PS5 - FF7 Remake + DLC
Epic/Steam - FF7 Remake + DLC
PS5 and Epic/Steam versions of the game are same content.
As for whether the game is considered full/complete is up to you to decide. Its a little different and can't be just 1:1 compared, but the most similar thing to compare to is Mass Effect series 1/2/3. You need to finish all 1/2/3 to get the full story, but all of those three games were standalone games themselves.
