This game supports the vibration functions on the DualSense™ wireless controller for PlayStation®5 and the DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controller for PlayStation®4.
To use these features, you will need to deactivate "Steam Input" from the Steam controller settings menu.

As other users have expressed, this port has much, much bigger issues than just the controller vibration not working properly, one of which is the DRS stutter present in the default framerate option of the game.

How can I play this game with the DS4? I followed the instructions and disabled steam input. But the game won't recognize it, It won't move anything inside the main menu.

Lol thats a common tactic, Pound and Dollar are aparantly equal. Just say NOPE. Its a Trilogy too no one can pay 3x 69 for FF7. Someday when they have all three in a bundle on sale.

they have to change SFX sound file that was made for PS-5, convert them for windows use!

Requested a refund, as when using my PS5 controller wireless my options are either play with XBox prompts, or...get bent. The workaround above does nothing except, as you'd expect, disabling my controller completely.

If I select anything other than XInput in controller settings, it switches up/down & left/right on the dpad, & there's no way to customise those commands. If I leave it on XInput, I can't choose what prompts are displayed, for no reason.

This is by far the stupidest reason I've ever refunded something, but after an hour messing around reading Reddit posts & trying everything short of installing ds4windows, I give up.

Don't deceive yourself. If you want to use a controller on Windows PC, use an X Box controller. It's supported natively by the operating system and you just plug in and play. Everything else is just a hassle. Save yourself the headache honestly.

Honestly I just play with my PS5 Controller with it wired connected. Has the PS icons too so I fixed my issue for now xP

How can I make this work with nintendo pro controller? It forces me to map key in game but some buttons aren't working.

I noticed that when playing the crisis core remake on steam that it is able to pick up DS4/DS5 button layout automatically on steam. Is there a way to update the game to use the same thing?
