FF7 Remake is made out of spite.
TLDR: People don't like Dino getting a mop on his head and goes "not in a million years!" but accept SE making you killing the ghost boss of the OG plot, subsequently free them of future plot changes.

I've always find the "ghost" a jab at the original's fans putting it in such a literal way to insult the people who like the original and wouldn't want much changes.

Then I wandered upon a video about FF13 recently regarding its development history.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0kw7CorRrc&t=1199s&ab_channel=BrandoSP

It's the then I realized that the whole FF7 remake will be the revenge of the FF13 development team, and now they've adapted everything into a position of their choosing, and already lured in most of its fanbase with its first part out of three, seemingly following the original besides a few tweaks...

I can almost certainly assure you they will invent some kingdom heart convoluted plot into the story to tell the original fans of the messages of the recently Hollywood.

FF7 remake is made out of spite, not love. The spite of an artist being forced to remaking old game. The spite of wanting FF13 to be dignified but instead insult upon.

The spite, the vitriol, and the hate permeates this remake, and I'm afraid it won't end well.

No I can't really thought of a reason why I want to express that, it's just lingering thought that I've always have whenever I start the game.

I completed the game and from what I've seen they put a lot of love into it.

The combat is so nicely done that if it had used turn based it'd be 10 times worse. Some battles are so awesome to do. Others not so much due to how the enemy work.

The characters are fleshed out and you get to see the full range of emotions from them unlike in FF7 where they might just have done a simple gesture.

The cover art for the original FF7 disk was made into a scene in the game.
https://twinfinite.net/2019/09/final-fantasy-vii-remake-art-2/
When I saw that in game I instantly recognized it. They did more of those too.

So with the story. I don't care if they change it now. I'd love to have other party members.
Except Cait Sith because it looks like they only made him do a cameo. Hard to say if he'll brought back in full because he might be least liked character in FF7.

It'll be a new and fun experience and I want more of it.

There is only a few things wrong with your Post here...

Final Fantasy VII Is likely being ruined like you said...

But I don't think that's the real reason...

-----------------

#1.) I got sick of ReMakes of Movies, & Games back when Dark Knight came out...

#2.) I only got sick of Sequels from certain things, like Batman, for instance that already has like 50 different faces, & appearances...

#3.) I'm not wasting 30 more Years of ReBoots, just cause something went wrong, or some Studio decided we needed to Reboot for whatever dum reason...

#4.) If I got sick of something already on Screen? Why is it being shoved in my face, & torn apart in front of me? I dun understand the logic, nor the purpose in that...

#5.) I am also Straight, so I fail to understand why including Gay material in my activities, & shoved in my face...

How that's going to change my mind, anymore then it did before it was in material I watched before?

If I don't care about it, why shoving it in my face, would I care after?

#6.) Just cause America is a Diverse Country, does not make it right, nor give an Excuse to ruin the entire Planet just so people would pay attention, & notice you exist, -_-

#7.) At this point why do we even bother trying to build a more conjoined Culture, when we are already soo sick of each other, that we don't even wanna live in the same Space as each other...

So again?

Why Is Everything Being Ruined Today, & Then Being Blamed On Everyone, & Everything, But People's Own Stupidity?

How can anyone just expect things to change, if they don't actually address the issue to start with, & how can they fix, what they just simply ignore right in front of them? -_-

The reasoning why Nomura changed so much is he didn't want to make it a simple remake. If you're familiar with his way of directing you should've expecting that he would make it more convoluted than the original (which is already a mess in story pacing. Sorry fanboys).

I liked the changes, most do not. It also allows them to go down a different route with some characters like Aerith and Zack.

For all we know he goes full Nomura and Sephiroth isn't the real villain you've fought all this time, but instead Genesis who took over his body. Now Sephiroth as a ghost himself tries to change destiny into forcing the character party in going on the Journey in a world where Zack and Aerith don't die. His real goal simply being in mind taking over Zacks body who still lives here. Which would then explain short hair Sephiroth, cause it's Zack.

Yes, it's like 90% of KH plot. Nomura likes putting that in all his games. Btw, this is all a joke and I hope people aren't taking it serious. Sadly it is Nomura's style, lol

Actually, the complaints I have with
Final Fantasy VII: ReMake is this:

-- Don't Deteriorate Visuals After Launch
-- Don't Shove Distrustful Agreements On Us
-- Don't Shove Distrustful Policies On Us

-- I Hate Mobile Market, Don't Get Phones Involved With The PC & Console Market
-- FF7R I Prefer Original Speeches More
-- Train Heat Sparks Look Weird & Toony?
-- Character's Make No Sense:
A. Barret Gloats About Looks & Being Cool
B. Cloud Acts As If He Doesn't Care If Friends Live Or Die, Yet Helps Them Escape Anyways? oO
C. Jesse Sounds & Feels like their talking to no one 97% of the time they aren't triggering something, like opening a door...
D. Aries Costume feels sooo Bland, as if the artist quit the job, right after modeling her
-- What's with the very strict Specs for the Game, Res, HDR, & Such?
-- What's with the overly dramatic amount of Tutorials?
-- Why Am I Fixing A Game I Didn't Make?
(I'm Not Maintenance, I'm Not Being Paid)
-- Why Can't Gaming Just Be Gaming, & Go Back To The Way It Was Back In Like 2015?

Most importantly, i've already played the Game on PS4 once, & Original on PS1, but why STEAM of all places? A place that has had a litteral nearly 7 Year Streak in Customers hating it, caused actual health concerns, & broke a trust with Customers...

Anyways, i'm not ranting about how I like or don't like the Game, i'm actually about 50/50 on buying it a 2nd time...
-- Don't Own PS4, So PC Is A Must
-- I only Was Replying To Above Q?
-- I just don't want to buy it on STEAM, :(

i see this ff7 remake as a "what if" story line.. what if they broke the fate of the OG game.. i always wondered what they would do.

"The spite, the vitriol, and the hate permeates this remake"

Where is your proof of that claim?

1. Don't deteriorate visuals after launch. What does this mean lol? Every game is gonna age.
2. Distrustful agreements/policies. wtf is this? is this one of those things when people go "oooo this is woke" or some made up ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
3. Barret doesn't gloat about being cool
4 Cool so this is the same aloof & impersonal Cloud we got for a big chunk of the original game
5. Jessie's characterization making up for trauma is xplained really early on

gaming si gaming...
like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ what are you on about, FF7R is a video game. gaming just be gaming? jfc

Revenge? What revenge ? For the absolute trash they delivered with 13?

I give this game a 9.8/10. Only thing that irked me about it was the music not being as good(which is a major irk, but it's fine because it's still FF7 music) and that new guy on the bike. I was originally pissed at people coming back to life, but being a major fan of Sephiroth, I love the idea that, of course he found a way to alter his own destiny. The 3 part thing also pissed me off until I played part 1, now it's little consequence. Oh, and I also hate the KH series. At least the ones without Sephiroth. I think the FF7/8 characters carried that series.

My entire time playing it I've felt like the devs were just trying to make me angry. They've butchered the story and then made the game into an on-rails cinematic experience. I feel like my childhood memory is tarnished. Aerith is annoying and ugly, Jessie is the worst type of woman (great personality and good looking but a complete, ego-centered, tease), and Tifa is somehow completely undesirable after the first 20 minutes with her. The annoying boss mechanics inserted for "difficulty" feel punitive as well. The entire experience seems to have been crafted with veiled hatred for the community. I think you're absolutely right. There was no love in the crafting of this remake.
Burge117 Jun 22, 2022 @ 6:20am
I mean the ghosts are stupid and inconsistent at the best of times and are indeed likely jabs at OG fans, as for everything else...who knows!

This could be a interesting conversation. What is your basis for facts OP?
Do you have a developer background? I'd love some prof background on the real opinions of feelings of the developers.
Could give us all good insight into mentality, reason, intent.
♔V3RD1CT Jun 22, 2022 @ 6:25am
Personally I worry very much the trilogy is a good bait into bad practice of crap cycle games.
