Can I destroy abductor?
I have bomb gun (idr its name), but it have very low durability and high cost, so I didn't tried to kill abductor with it (well, I tried, but one shot is certainly not enough; most shots are just passing trough). Is it teorethically possible to kill abductor?

If it's the flare gun, no. It just shoots flares.

If it's the item whose icon looks like scissors, no. That's for cutting off car parts off wrecks without totally destroying them.

The abductor will chase the flares that you shoot from the flare gun and give you a chance to move somewhere else

I tried the liberator since it's basically a grenade launcher with the really confusing description of being able to surgically remove remove whole car parts.........by shooting a wad of plastic explosive anywhere on the panel. Dumb reasoning, but surprise I got real firepower now, you weirdos messing with my car are gonna get it! Yeeeeeah nope, disappointment. I was honestly hoping for better because the little balls that latch onto your car, you CAN get out and murder those things with powertools.

There are literally 0 items in this game that has any sane description. So you want to say that abductors are invulnerable? That is sad, but as usual, maybe mods will fix this game.

Limpulse emitter if timed right will get them off your back, haven't tried LIM sheild or ION shield yet in this regard. I didn't think to try using a liberator (explosive gun you describe) but I did try a scrapper on them, no effect.

I saw a post on Reddit earlier saying that you can throw a bunny at them to disable them.

lim shield also works against abductors and hop-ons

Excellent, so once my current Limpulse emitter wears out (Ya feeling ok Pacific Drive? ive been on 30 runs that things not broken yet) - (wish my flipping turbo-lite would last HALF that long) Will switch to lim shield and finally Ion.

Ion shield doesn't replace Lim shield but complements it. Ion shield only useful against wild radiation in deep zone or when hunting for Arda drops. It doesn't protect from physical damage.
Lim shield uses fixed amount energy one time when you activate it so you don't need to turn it off but Ion shield sucks energy while activated and needs to be selectively toggled

Oh cool, didn't know Ion compliments Lim shield. Haven't used my Ion yet, I only crafted it to try and use up the plethoria of materials Ive collected. The Lim shield power draw really isn't that bad at all, was surprised, course I'm rocking a backseat battery, Side wind turbine, solar panel, and water collector.

I did four wind turbines for a couple runs, oh man it was HARD to make my battery die.

I like being able to use headlights while driving at night. most cars have had this capability since the 1930's..

It would still be awesome to have an alternator, of course give it drawbacks, maybe use more fuel, or have the option for either it or the parking brake, or some other thing.
But I understand why there isn't an option to have one.
