piracy is a direct result of cost and skepticism.
when netflix came on, piracy dropped. when disney, warner bros and all the others began to split to maximize profits, piracy gained back on.
skepticism is fuelled by decades of developper abuse. incomplete games, bugged games and so on.
also there's piracy and then there's G2A's fraud.
buying a key on a third party like them is either off website scraping, theft, resale of gifted keys and so on.
