I can't get into a car.

I don't understand how to get in the car. I've been able to manage but I can't do it consistently. What is the secret?

E to open the door, E on the door to get in.

Sometimes it happens all at once but you have to be in the correct spot.

I'm using a controller and it took me a while to find out that it is either a short or continuous press of the right shoulder button on the door, whichever I was not doing before :P

Thanks. So far I found that if I don't open the door, its easy to find the Get In spot. I'm using a Dual Sense Controller so its a tap of R1 but seem to only work well when the door is closed.

Seriously, no one else is having this issue? I'm about to return the damned game. I can't consistently get into or especially out of the car. Open the door, close the door, open the door, close the door, open the door, (20 times later), ah I got out. f me!

absolutelly no problem with that on PC, im guessing ur on console?

Tap button: enter/exit car.

Don't open the door. If you do it won't lt won't let you in or out of the car. You have to get out of the car with the door closed. Stupid. Honestly so far the control scheme is seriously wierd if not a disaster.

you can get in/out even with the doors aready open...

Press to get in in one motion, hold to open the door without getting in. you can do it at any point on the door... there are more than a few controls like this, they have a symbol for "hold" and one for "press" for most things

Yeah if you want to open and get out you need to just barely tap it. Which makes opposite of sense because opening and getting out is doing more stuff and should take a longer press than just opening it.
