Are you kidding me?!
I spent three hours going through three areas to reach the stabilizers. I finally reached and set the last one and Oppy says the stability in the zone is tanking get out of there. It's dark and foggy and There are so many obstructions it's impossible to even see where you are going then I get thrown into the air and stuck on a guard rail with 24% health left. I end up back at the garage. I said if all my stuff is gone I am done with this game. Well all my stuff is gone, three hours of loot and special items. I am done with this game. Every time I give it another shot it just screws me more than the last time. What is wrong with the people who made this.

You can configure gameplay settings to make it so you don't lose loot. I understand though. Bollards are a real pain, they can completely ruin your run seemingly out of nowhere.
Abyssal Crow 2024 年 3 月 1 日 下午 10:26
You can retrieve lost items by returning to the junction you died at and finding your "Remnant ghost". All is not truly lost, welcome to a rogue-like game, you'll encounter conditions and unsuitable environments that offer interesting challenges, you fell to one of these and are promptly punished, but remember you can still go and get your stuff back. If you don't like death being punishing, don't buy rogue-like games. Also in options there's gameplay settings for difficulty including not losing anything on death, think this might bar some achievements though but hey you're deciding to not play the intended experience to begin with so its fair.

I feel you on this: bad gameplay isn't fun.

I have no issue with the "difficulty" of the game, because it isn't a "difficulty" issue that the mission exits require you to be 2/3rds across the map before you can tun them on & the anchors typically spawn in the same locations as the exits ... which means you usually have to backtrack for miles to activate one, then drive right back to where you just were, and half of the time the storm overlaps the gate and you die.

That is just ♥♥♥♥ game design and active disrespect for players time.

The mission with the three stabilizers is pretty rough, I'll grant you that. They even nerfed it in this latest patch to make it easier to get to the gateway from any point in the map, so it matters less in what order you activate the stabilizers. It definitely put hair on my chest when I went through it.

Three junctions in three hours, though? That's an abnormally long amount of time to spend per junction. Most should take you ~15 minutes before the instability storm starts rolling in. And even if you stick around in Perpetual Stability junctions systematically going house to house, you're going to hit the limit of what your car storage can hold pretty quickly doing that, especially at that point in the game. You don't have the trunk storage upgrade, you don't have the XL Roof Storage. I don't recall if Side Storage is available, but even still...

I see lots of people complaining about how the game is horrible because they spent hours and hours on a single run and then died, which seems unfathomable. I just completed a run with eight junctions in an hour and thirty-five minutes. What are people actually spending their time doing?
Dasmortas 2024 年 3 月 1 日 下午 11:09
not sure what game you people playing

I completed it not even going past the 2nd engine upgrade

think had 26 days not one death

best Tips

always park your car away from the anchors you collect 100m is min

avoid avoid avoid avoid, why repair when can just slow down go around

those yellow mini storms either avoid or park the car in drive sit it out till fly over

Electic armour good and armour front bumper, head light whatever

the Lim wep on back

Rad shield roof with resource detector

expanded seat fuel tank and battery

turbine side and rest just storage sides

2 spare fuels large

charge prod x2 and think had 3 blow torches

and 3x everything else need to repair other stuff + best tools gathering

Yellow storm is only 5k rad, red storm doesn't instakill either its just a massive rad damage which granted does decompile you and your car pretty fast, there's even an achievement for only entering the gateway after the red storm has fully encompassed the map.

This is extra funny because I just did that mission with the car and myself fully loaded with only 20% hp left and everything on the car was broken. Now I have to go back but my 4 wheels are below 50% and I can't repair them.

Grandpa.. Stop being sucha wussy. Get back on that horse and go kick some LIM-ASS. Send back a report after you have done so.

I agree. From what I've seen it's from taking entirely too long. It's punishing on your car for any lengthy journey, even if you bring a bunch of extra kits to fix everything and are good at avoiding damage. It's much easier if you spend 10-15 minutes tops per zone.

It's hilarious watching people whine and complain about "How hard" the game is when I went all the way through withing "Dying" once.
Beshi 2024 年 3 月 2 日 上午 2:56
The game killed you, so the game is bad? Isn’t it rather that you’re not up to par? Go play Adibou if this game is too hard for you.
Cas 2024 年 3 月 2 日 上午 3:00
How do you even spend three hours on a single trip? My longest was about an hour and that was like 5 Zones. And on top of that you try to end that run on a main mission objective? You are also not too far into the game so you dont even have enough inventory to loot for three hours. What are you guys doing on such long trips?

And you dont turn off Gameplay Penalties that bother you but instead quit the game.

So maybe ask yourself whats wrong with your playstyle. The Developer added enough options (brighter nights, no penalty for failing a run, lots of useful upgrades to counter everything the game throws at you) and you are still mad at the game/developers.
Doesnt make much sense if you ask me.

In 60 hours of gameplay, I’ve never had this problem. If you don’t have enough anchor when the storm comes to leave the area, it’s because you’re managing your run very poorly. It’s not the game that’s at fault, but your way of playing. Moreover, I remind you that everything is random. If anchors are at the exit, it’s just bad luck, it has nothing to do with bad gameplay.

Always pick up the anchors that are on your way and those that make you take a big detour, don’t take them if you don’t feel it and wait for the next area. Thus, when you arrive in the next area, it is very likely that you have enough anchor to teleport, which gives you time to explore. If this is not the case, focus on the anchors before exploring to be sure you can leave the area when the storm arrives. Once the storm is announced, you have a good 10 minutes to prepare to leave.

In short, it’s not the gameplay that’s bad, but your way of playing.

Similarly, a race to the last zone takes me between 30 minutes and an hour at most. However, I think people complain because they haven’t understood how to play the game and how the game works.
