Are some quirks good?

Can some quirks actually be a good thing? Does anyone have some, please tell. I imagine you just never want to "fix" them if they are good ones, yeah?

Good is relative to your needs. Some quirks might say close all the doors on your car when you do something that isn't regularly done, niche but not really a quirk you need to remove most times and can be used to completely close up. Others might be able to get ignored and some are just detrimental no matter what.

Basically : Judge on your own terms if a quirk is annoying enough to you or not.

When you check the tinker station, it seems like it, yes. there's an option for fuel goes up when car is off - for example, just by pure combinations. and I'd expect every combination to be potentially possible.

I think the good part of it is relative. I had one where when the battery is full my dashboard switches on faster. It's not really negative but it's fairly useless. I'm sure there's the potential to have beneficial ones, but I haven't had any I've wanted to keep. I prefer the car to behave normally.

I wonder if Quirks are pre-made by the developers because I have had
"Trunk door is closed -> Wipers toggled"
3 times now.

I have one that is all doors close when lights turn on, so if for any reason i forget to shut a door or i get a quirk that causes a door to open i can just turn my lights on and fixes that issue

yes, I have one for example that makes the windshield wipers work faster when my car is going fast. which is helpful on stormy nights.

or another one that makes the dash info turn on faster when my car is in drive.

im sure some could be super useful like for example having all doors close when turning on the engine can be nice so you dont have to bother closing doors ever.

or for example having wipers on making your battery drain slower.

I've had one where slamming the trunk shut would make the horn honk. Felt like giving my car a good old pat on the back. Maybe not a positive mechanical effect, but great for morale.

more like a slap on the ass but thats more funny than anything.

tho honking the horn can attract anomalies so be careful :)

At the moment, when I turn radio on, battery charges. There's no way I'm getting rid of this one :-).

There was someone on the game discord that they had a perk, that every time they kicked the car, the battery charged up. I can see practical places this would be difficult, but it would at least also be a little therapeutic. :D

There are def. some good ones out there, second playthru and the most inconvinient quiks ive got were door open or headlight related

the ultimate goal is to get 6 of those so that you just have a permanently buffed car lol.

im hoping to one day get something that regens battery power passively.
