If you want to make an endfight memorable, be creative not unfair. that is what dark souls did so well and copycats like this game don't.

How did you fare against the DLC bosses? Those were harder for me.

I have to agree, the final boss was a huge drag, unfair and just painful in general. Almost all other bosses were great, but this one is the "Bed of Chaos" of this game... (who played dark souls will understand).

When I was fighting her - I really didn't noticed any oneshots. I think I was lucky enough and avoided these attacks.
At least bosses in PW are not some faceless generic monsters with claws all over the body and you shouldn't attack only their right heel.

I knew that because i played android version. So i farmed exp as much as i could and killed the final boss in second try. But i agree this boss is very unfair.

The difficulty is only in one, you have no other characters. The boss himself is very predictable and victory comes down to learning the behavior. The boss does not have insane combos or moves that cannot be avoided. The boss is just a long battle and that's it.

Getting stuck with one of the characters with the least mobility in a fight the requires a lot of evasion is quite frustrating. Spent most of phase 2 and 3 running in circles around her (unlocked) waiting for an opportunity to close in for a few attack.

What really helped was realizing that attacks like the charged heavy can throw her.

Also, learning her tells is quite hard, because initially it all just looks like her waving her hands.

Just beat this endboss, gotta admit, I was thinking the same thing, the fight drags on too long, is an exercise in patience, the boss can hit you from off screen, has small windows, punishes combos with her counter, and it felt a lot of it was left to rng, few times she'll two shot me, some other times I'd survive.

Not a good design when a Boss stops being challenging and becomes a chore to beat.

Game was pretty good overall, lots of good ideas, endboss was a bit of a let down, like they bit more than what they could chew, kinda thing.

I agree here. I'm a soulsborne player and this last boss is tedious; mainly in the 3rd form. Apart from her, only the guardian gave me trouble. I'm about 2 attempts from just watching the ending on video and calling it a day.
