Need some visual hint for matching edges
Because player needs to match tile edges to get higher score and match all 6 edges to get an extra tile. It makes the game really stressful. Especially when there are more than 500 tiles on the board, it just becomes a repetitive boring task

It would be nice if there are some special glow to show where you can make a 2+ edge perfect placement, also which existing tile can potentially become a perfect tile.

That will make the game much more relaxing

A limited tile placement assistance or a power up side tools would be great.

They are reluctant to add UNDO button, where will they provide a visual clue? Randomness rules the game.

I think that would take away from the point of the game.. the entire strategy of the game is managing the land yourself and knowing what you got going where, and FINDING those spots.

that works when there are less than 100 tiles, but doesn't really make any sense when there are more than 500 tiles

There are hints. Just not blaring. If you move your piece around a section that you want to put it, a slight glow along the edge of a hexagon it can snap to will light up. This has helped when I have a crowded map of village tiles and I am looking for that one hole.

That's far from enough.

I mean when you have so many tiles on the board, it's impossible to remember the shape and direction of all the tiles.

to achieve the highest possible score or make the game last long enough, I just have to keep looking around all over the places before placing EVERY TILE.
That is just not fun.

You mean when you match house with house and it highlights every house in that connected group across many, many tiles. That works fine for the tile you are placing.

However, it doesn't show you the status of the tiles around the one you are placing. That's what we really need to see so we can see which of those will/won't lose perfect status.

There's a number of threads about it in the 'suggestions' sub-forum, but I don't think the devs have responded to any of them. Here's one such thread:

I feel this would be nice as well. Maybe it could be a toggle or lower difficulty. I see no reason to make the game frustrating for others who would like this option. Not everyone cares about the leader boards. It could even help teach others the game better!

It should be added. I don't see way this game should be this stressfull. You're not enjoying looking the landscape you created and goinf for a peacefull placement. You're actively searching for a perfect all the time... barely enjoying it. My opintion, anyway.

You know that map-edge glow you get when hovering over a quest? I've often wished I could trigger that for the whole map. I know the response from some folks is "get good," but my response to that is Just you wait; presbyopia comes for all of us. You hit your early 40s, and it's like someone turned the lights out.

The tile graphics are not great when it comes to visually checking the viability of a perfect match. I've seen some where half of an edge has field and half has something else. What is that then? It's always one or the other but won't be clear until you place a tile and it passes/fails the perfect match test (which is another reason that Undo is sorely missed). Since you cannot clearly see the hex borders of laid tiles, it starts to become a chore to check the borders of bordering tiles. Might as well play Sudoku if this is a desirable game element.
It would be great if I could mouse over a tile and press space, where it would then highlight edges that aren't aligned to equivalents. I don't think it's a "cheat" or whatever you want to call it. I've laid tiles carefully knowing that a perfect could be coming along later. I've still got to go tile by tile.
