Lost collectibles

After being gifted "The Ultimate Life Collection" all of my previously earned collectibles are gone, does anyone know if there is a way to fix this?

I assume you've tried restarting the game and checking everything again?

When you say collectables, you mean all the puzzle pieces you unlock as you progress through the worlds, right?

Also, did you own any of the worlds or had any purchased items before being gifted the Ultimate Left Collection?

Lastly, is this only happening on Steam, or do you own the game on any other platforms?
