Are the family collectibles hard or am I just super unlucky?

First, I'm playing on the Switch but this is the only decent forum for this game I can find. Second, I'm a completionist and always try to unlock all the collectibles for every map. On every map, without fail, the Grow Your Family puzzle pieces take the longest to collect. I always take the marriage and family paths every single time. I also take the risky path for the family opportunities on the spin to win/fate spaces. And almost every single game, I finish with no children/pets. I'm lucky to have one child/pet by the end of the game and it's becoming frustrating as heck.

Someone needs to teach me how to rig this spinner like I see others doing. I only play against the AI so I don't feel bad about using this exploit.

It's way too hard to obtain childrens or pets. And the game have major balance issues. At least in the endgame.

You're not the only one. I'm also having problem with getting "Family" spaces. The only map I have with completed "Family" challenges is Classic World. That's it.

I literally just posted about this. It drives me crazy but at least I'm not the only one. It took over a month with just playing a couple hours each day to finish the family expansion, after I had done all the others, also while trying to expand my family. If I'd known the programming was so low quality that they can't balance it....I could have saved my anger for a different game. Stupid mistakes in programming make me never want to purchase anything from them again.
