Cant play online with a friend

Is there any way to play online with a friend?
We can play alone both of us but can't join together an online game so we can't have games of 4 together (both of us and 2 ppl more)

i have the same bug. When I tried to play online, I got a error popup "No Connection! An Internet Connection is required to play Onlinet"

I was able to play online with friend with no issues. Just saying that so folks know it does work but not all systems are the same, so there may be issues with some configurations.
